Title: That Sweet Spot

Often what meditation is like for me.

All the events and circumstances surrounding our lives stir us up. Meditation is like feeling a little of that inner peace again and noticing you are coming back into the now ... not letting all the pressures of life ruffle you up. You feel like you’re getting on a raft and just floating. Watching your breath again. Your at peace now. All the worries and scheduled events will take care of themselves. But you do not want to be controlled by their influences while being bulldozed and coerced by people and circumstances that unsettle your innate peace of mind.

You may want to play a little calming music. There is much here under ‘Art and Creative Expressions’ check out the ‘Native American’ section as an example. Suddenly you have found your relaxing calm state again. You sit up. Maybe a cushion behind your lower back and you start noticing your breath. The inhalation’s and exhalations and the moments of calm in between. Now your back to that soulful connection. Use a calming word or mantra u have learned with every in flowing and out flowing breath.... focus and enjoy. When you are done take a deep breath hold and let out slowly. Enjoy the state of breathlessness for a few moments.
