Title: North Country Trail Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Apr 29, 2021 11:19 am Just went on a pilgrimage on the North Country Trail near the Manistee River and was accompanied much of the trip by woodpeckers and blue jays. Had much more time to reflect and for meditation and seemed to have many answers to questions raised during meditation by the friend that went along. At one point I was meditating perhaps 45-60 minutes and suddenly ‘saw’ my friend standing close by walking towards me so I stopped meditating and started walking. Very soon he was there and told me he had walked up towards me but didn’t want to bother me. I told him I ‘saw’ him. He asked me if my eyes were open at the time. I said no they were not. I was meditating with my eyes closed. However nevertheless I ‘saw’ him intuitively. Such are the perceived experiences during meditation. This is from your thread on Blue Jays Eric; “In animal symbolism, the blue jay resonates truth, faithfulness, and solidarity because they are vigilant in their tasks. They also keep the same mate for life, which is symbolic of endurance, patience and loyalty. The jay is an excellent symbol for those wishing to honor their long-lasting bond between friends, family and lovers." As I noted above I was with someone. I have had many disappointing disagreements with, yet we are still friends and had a great time together. My conclusion is good luck finding ideal friendships; you may find yourself with little to no friends! And... just from a selfish point of view friends can be very helpful for specific needs. |
