i opened up a door to a dusty floor
down the dark hallways
i saw Jimmy Stewarts face
in a film made well
The film script never tells
All our heroes fade away

saw Bobby Kennedy
riding down the street
From and open car
his hand and heart reached far
It’s rare to see
Such empathy
All our heroes fade away

I walked on down the street
To a familiar beat
A broken window pain
A key that’s on a chain
Brother I knew you well
But what stories never tell
All our heroes fade away

i read some Herman Hesse
He made our heroes blessed
i'd be afraid to fall
if i stood that tall
but if his words don't sell
when they were wrote so well

Hey Steve,

Out of curiosity- are you selling any of your works? Whether music, or your writings? Just curious. I tried clicking your CD on the links page and it doesn't work. Similarly I noticed you have a website but it requires I login to Google in order to proceed. I don't care to support Google... Is there anywhere you might be able to redirect me or anyone interest in supporting you at this time?

Right now it's just a thought... Thank you.

You're welcome. I just wanted to show a little appreciation, was feeling generous. I've been a member since 2010? That's 12 years now and it's my first time to donate, I've had free real-estate the entire time.

Thank you for the space.

A song about what comes around… goes around; karma

Two versions of it here. One with Jim’s Cooney playing on guitar, and another with one of those people you know you’ve known before, somewhere in time; Dan Matteson playing drums and another Dan helping us playing guitar. Valerie Haan did the first video. Valerie and Dan have both posted on the portal.

Back to You in Time

Danielle was a waitress in a restaurant out of town.
She had a sense of humor; Southern charm kept her around.
She lightened up the rush-hour.
She drank up on coffee breaks,
And when the tips were low,
her smile was saving grace.

Cause you can’t escape yourself
you can’t go run and hide
there’s (ain’t) nowhere to go
it all comes back to you in time

Cori was a sailor. He sailed the sky and sea
Till he found an answer to satisfy his dreams.
He left his home and family with a hardly a word,
and came back three years later,
without a hope in the world

(Chorus)

Danielle got the groceries for a party Friday night.
It’s a small reunion for things that turn out right
Cori cleared his conscience.
Danielle finally for forgave
A nest full of troubles,
only a light heart can shake

Cause you can’t escape yourself
you can’t go run and hide
there’s nowhere you can go
it all comes back to you in time

I wrote this song after many years performing at nite clubs and eating at restaurants, around the country, taking in the personalities of the locals serving meals, and observing how we all get a chance to know what our actions feel like to others…in the wake of time.

Unselfish Moment

i woke up this morning tryin to keep up with the pace
then it hit me
put a smile upon my face
take your own journey see what what you can find
Reach for the starlite
or just a higher ground.

In one unselfish moment.
In one unselfish way.
Tell me
what you goina do with your life
Tell me we can make the change

The golden glow of the sunset
the day is calming down
Let go of our worries...carried away by the sound
Hear a train in the distance,
can carry me away
Beyond these memories
i find a peaceful place

i'm sittin alone now
wonderin' where i'll go
all my hours are unfamiliar roads
all becomes clearer
it appeared the other day
one kind word has cleared the clouds away

This is a tricky sphere of thought because clauradiance unfortunately has a manifestation which overlaps with the symptoms of schizophrenia.

Schizophrenic people do hear voices, which sound very real, coming from the auditory channel. But they are mere auditory hallucinations.

So, the question arises: if I'm hearing voices, is that clauradiance or schizophrenia?

https://youtu.be/k_nNSKzIHno?feature=shared

Mccoy thanks for the response. I have met many schizophrenic people in my life. I also worked as a mental health worker and therapist in a career setting for Muskegon County and Ludington Memorial hospital.

I have also experienced clairaudience. The song below is an example of what I’ve experienced. What I have found is that people with schizophrenia usually hear negative voices and the voices say things which are demeaning and derogatory in nature. Perhaps people hear positive things that is associated with Schizophrenia as well. i would certainly put Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys in that category. He was a 'victim' of
schizophrenia according to 'authorities'. Although at times we should ask the question: Who are the real 'sick ones'. Once someone came into a mental institution in which i was working and asked to talk to one of the mental health workers. i smiled (trying to hold back the laugh) and said; "That would be me"

Clairaudience is generally thought of as quite different, showing uplifting thoughts and hearing uplifting music. This song below was not something I would have finished writing if it had not been for the initial lyrics and music I clearly heard after waking in the morning. The reason I do not think it was inspired by myself is because the lyrics are not in the style in which I write; thus the unusual title.

“Tell me what you goina do with your life? In one unselfish moment. In one unselfish way?” It is poor grammar and I usually attempt to use proper grammar. In this case the words seem to nevertheless work with the melody in an appropriate understanding for anyone casually listening.

steve, probably you are right in that auditory hallucinations form schizophrenia have usually a negative or delusional connotation, but I'm really not sure.

Maybe schizophrenia may even in itself trigger some auditory phenomena which have a creative nature.

In your case, the phenomenon was clearly not schizophrenia, which left to itself without a cure, as you know, causes eventually significant mental degeneration.

I know this may sound unscientific, but it may come down to; what came first, the chicken or the egg? We are somewhat in a school here on earth. We come here to accomplish certain tasks and goals. Yet most people go on merrily with out the slightest recognition that life is for learning. To one such as you or i, we have begun to see certain meaningful patterns emerging in our lives. Fortunately we have found a Master and have begun to understand a plan we have been working on for perhaps many lives. Miracles and synchronicities help us to recognize that life is not a game of chance. Even in such occurrences as schizophrenia and other debilitating conditions that all of us face in life in milder or more extreme conditions have a purpose to reveal to us various aspects of our own behavior quirks. In this sense sometimes people are made somewhat helpless to certain conditions so they can no longer control life circumstances as they would like to. Those who do have the freedom to seemingly do as they wish quite often waste away their chance to really make something of their lives. In a misguided attempt to enjoy all the pleasures available to them in realty they only enslave themselves to another round of experiences of what it is like to do what they have done to themselves and others in their freely given choices.

Some of us meet again to fulfill a divine purpose for ourselves and others around us. We become accustomed to that purpose and become willing instruments of an emerging divine plan in our lives and the lives of those we find ourselves surrounded by
.

Any of the above, but in this particular song I was writing about their totems. Life brings us messages from the spirit world and into the physical world. I see it every day and attempt to express it.

Since I meditate many hours a day …it connects me with the spirit world. And sometimes the words and music write themselves and I’m just a witness. But to finish the song, I must work on what I’ve ‘channeled’ and finish the composition.

If words come to me without my volition … I go with it. For instance the words and music came to me asking; Tell me what you goina do with your life; in one unselfish moment, in one unselfish way? I do not write in  that way. It seems like poor English language. But since it appears that spirit poised the question to me; who am I to judge the language of spiritual muses?

Meet Me in the Next Life

Meet Me in the Next Life and see
In the this swirling dance of stars what are we
Many worlds where no one has been
In a universe that has no end
In the deep dark midnite sky
That inspires us to seek the answers why
And if all we've done in this life is true
Then at last i will be there with you
Where the heavens and the stars meet again
I'll look for you in every lonely glen
Forget my face and see my soul
That i have been near you will know

Meet in the next life you've heard
There are lessons yet to be learned
Yes its true we're getting wiser each day
But were drawn here for another stay
We met in a past life it seems
Where we dreamed yet another dream
And we danced such a graceful dance
Made a love that will not surpass
Meet me in the next life for sure
There'll be tears and smiles and once more
Forget my face and see my soul
That i have been near you will know
Listen to your heart and your soul
That i have been near you will know

Yes some songs like this one… we’re written at joyous moments, where everything seemed to come together; the meaning of the song, the melody, the music and the exhilaration of the creative inspiration coming from somewhere beyond.

I wonder what your people thought of the Australia before the English came. We have a lot of inspiration and spiritual traditions here-in the United States-that are still today a part of Americas’ culture and history. In many ways more spiritual than we experienced from the European settlers and more environmentally friendly as well.

Lyrics for ‘Fine Feathered Friends’  https://youtu.be/evWJ1jdNXFU?feature=shared

Falcon takes on a journey
Comes to bring a special message
Rich with being Rich with being
on a red road  in the forest

trails thru the darkness
stars that map the way
misty morning mountain
Falcon glides with grace

Small red arrow feathered sparrow
In our small ways we can fly
Bounded by a message for us
Rhymes and riddles mark the way

signs along the journey
synchronicity
on a sacred pathway
guardian of our dreams

Raven takes us even further
On a moonshine walking morning
waves of mystery toss the dark sea
floating on a sea of bliss

Wise owl in the morning
wise tale wisdom speaks
Hoot owl comes to warn us
fine feathered friend

~Hydonus
