Title: People aren’t always what they appear to be.
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Feb 21, 2021 11:54 pm
Have you had the experience of having friends for years that suddenly change on you? The truth seems to be... in many ways we do not really know people and how they will react to us at one time and then years apart at another time. It also often depends a lot on what they are going thru and how it affects their perception of us. Is it wise to tell them? Maybe not. It may change nothing and could even disrupt things worst. On the other hand there may be others that suddenly bring views helpful to others even though at first unfamiliar and difficult to accept. Sometimes it has taken me years or a good portion of my life to find out just how sincere or insincere a person can be and understanding their motivations is not always readily available to comprehend. People usually do become more transparent over the years by their responsiveness or non responsiveness. We usually do find out how much soul or heart 💜 awareness they have by letting them function with their own volition independent of any solicitation or comments we could  make unless they are requested.

Considering that most of our desires are projected outwards, our insecurities or fears and even our reasoning and understanding- it makes sense that people are most always not what they appear to be. Sometimes friends hold onto inclinations of me and are disappointed when I reflect back to them something contrary to their expectations. What is true is we are all more than whatever preconceived idea another has about us. There may be an element of truth, but usually these incarnations are reflected back to us as lessons for the Soul Journey. In other words, whatever we think we see or know- it is for us in the moment. Life is birth, mutation and death. Still, there is an eternal something.

Most likely it is best to keep expectations at a minimal and recognize them as they manifest through outward events and people. If life is mutation sometimes friendship can be as well. So; I see no reason not to be open to different approaches and ‘thought experiments’. Just because life is birth and death does not mean a relationship has to be. In fact I’ve had some relationships that continued at significant times after death. No doubt to me, they will continue to endure at sometime when I make the journey to the other side as well or perhaps even on earth again. Others have re-entered my life even after years of what seemed to be separation. Sometimes the space in time was needed even though we may look back at times and wish we could have had more amicable temporary separation.

It  may not be possible to explore mutation with someone that sees life experiences as definitively defined and having breaking points; In applied genetics, it is usual to speak of mutations as either harmful or beneficial. A harmful, or deleterious, mutation decreases the fitness of the organism. A beneficial, or advantageous mutation increases the fitness of the organism. A neutral mutation has no harmful or beneficial effect on the organism. So for me, as I see more clearly, spiritually speaking....There is really no birth or death, endings or beginnings, but only the eternal now and human thought often chops up the great now into time sequences. I’m working on an attitude that keeps all my conscious experiences in an eternal now. That too may need revision as new experiences present themselves in this spiritual journey. Just because something or someone jostles my preconceived notions shouldn’t make it a threat.
