it is the same point in the sky that was rising at the time of your birth but the indian system would label it taurus as the star constellation of taurus was rising at the time . western astrology would label that same point in the sky gemini as the western zodiac is not based on the ancient zodiac of stars as everyone believes.its starting point 0 degree aries is fixed by the position of the sun at spring equinox .nowadays at this date the sun is alligned with pisceswhich is why this is called the age of pisces.using this  zodiac you are of course called gemini rising in western astrology.i try to avoid this discussion as it confuses a lot of people but it seems to be your interest.

Well i can see why you try to avoid this discussion. Your chart has a heavy affliction form Uranus to Mercury/Moon and Sun. But please do not put me into the category of others you may have had a hard time communicating with. i seek to understand not argue and have ego conflicts. Hope i have not lost you. i find this a fascinating topic and hope we can learn from each other.

thank you for putting up my chart in a format that others will understand.yes i have found conversations with astrologers fruitless since changing to vedic as most people want to defend and prove their own system (best to study what takes your interest).i do find discussion and debate tedious in this format especially with a complex area like this.i probably dont have the patience for it combined with the retro mercury i can easily be misunderstood .on reflection my views are probably too contentious which i try to avoid.better to leave opinions to those that genuinely enjoy debate.

Sorry about this it seems they want some money. Debates can be rewarding if they are done in spirit of understanding. i would say it is more like comparing notes though. Not a debate. It is like two people that come together that play an instrument real well; Yet they still can learn more from each other if they choose to. If they are entrenched in their own style and attitudes it makes it very difficult to become better and expand their awareness.

Our Mercury's inconjunct show the fated part of our communication. It is a lesson in not trying to control but to flow. i am grateful for the destiny the universe has provided us.

i am trying to avoid saying much to avoid misunderstanding .you may have noticed our mercury's are inconjunct.most of your questions can be answered by reading one good vedic book.much better than me.
