Title: Re: Demian Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on May 04, 2015 05:12 am By the way, I just saw your demian song on Utube, I enjoyed that, also, good chords progressions in your impro stretches! Demian has a rather unusual history. Since some of the song was written by synchronicity. i was playing in a nite club in Grand Rapids Michigan. These two women came in to see me play quite regularly so i got to know them. i explained that i was writing a song called Demian. One of the women told me that she had a collection of poetry and writings. Of course i was always interested in other peoples creativity. The peculiar thing about her was that she said she did not right her material. So i asked the logical question; Who wrote it? She responded that all her material was channeled and that she had automatic writing to help her. After reading most of what she showed me i saw a couple lines that would work well in Demian. She told me i could use them since she had no part in writing them. So as it turned out these were the lines that helped in completing the song. The inprov in the middle of the song was quite eastern sounding and i attribute to living in India in a past life; An idea that became more and more clear to me over the years because of early life interests, fears and a psychic reading. i have found that meditation has led me to other realms and realities quite often thru people i meet.
