Once you recognize the impact of your actions from this life and countless other lives it changes every thing and you yourself will attract people who are kinder even though they still may have much to learn about treating others appropriately. But many people have little or no knowledge of it. It is called karma. If someone is a young soul they may not yet recognize it working in their life. This is because when we treat others poorly, it may appear that we benefit temporarily. However, since we are shortsighted, and do not see as God does, our vision of time over an extended period, is short sighted. We are unable to see the long term consequences of our behavior. If we take the route of short term gratification without consideration for the outcome for others, we set ourselves up for delayed consequences that are in fact uncomfortable -if not harmful-for ourselves. On the contrary if we set up good behavior towards others we find the future outcomes for ourselves also increase our blessings.
