Title: Vibrations in and around us
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Apr 06, 2020 11:49 am
Lesson 117 Paramahansa Yogananda mentions "After you meditate deeply, then use that perception in the sum total of the feeling that you have after meditation, and concentrate that feeling in the heart. Then it will give you power to radiate good vibrations and to absorb good vibrations and it will also give you wisdom."

In order to receive the vibrations of others you should first harmonize the feeling of the heart; free it of all prejudice and emotion. In the heart, the center of feeling, are the sensitive antennae that will tell your truly what kind of vibrations people have. This is more reliable than metal judgment, but you must first be sure that you are free of all attraction, repulsion, prejudice, and other disturbing emotions. ~Paramahansa Yogananda

having to stay at home, it's important to disconnect from the internet and the news. to balance sleep, physical activity, sunlight, contemplation. to disconnect from the cell phone. i feel the difference now, i just went outside and was completely absorbed in mantra yoga. i am happy to report it's one of the deeper, more rewarding experiences i've felt reciting a mantra.i am feeling love for swami v. i recited, over and over... 30-40 minutes had passed... i lost track of time and my leg fell asleep. there was love feeling in the sounds, in the heart... chills in the spine, light in the third eye, tingling atop the chakra.. what a beautiful experience.

one thing about being stuck at home is having the opportunity to meditate. sadly i've been distracted, indulging in old behaviors. having a mantra is helpful when the mind is restless. synchronize it with your breath and your heart. <3 great thread
i hope to overcome the old, to be present and respond from the heart.

It is amazing to hear what experiences you seem to garner from mantra practice alone. I find that nature is my cathedral and it’s silences me putting me in a meditative and silent spiritual mood.

dear steve,
which mantra?
as for the chills in the spine, i believe god heals us this way.
this language is infinite in its healing possibilities. i intuit that this is what happened because this is what i was deeply craving in the moment. the rewarding experience is my affirmation.
god is beautiful.
