Title: Back Seat Drivers Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Apr 04, 2020 06:05 pm Human beings are usually creatures of habit. It would be fine if our habits were beneficial to us and all involved. But that is not always the case. It is difficult to say ‘it was nice while it lasted’. However we want to keep the movie going the way we would like to write the script. When God writes it different we moan and groan and say ‘why did you do that? That hurts.’
The movie has ever changing scenes. We are only here for the entertainment not to write the script although we no doubt will try to see fit to create our own scripts with others again. Still the show goes on as we occasionally say ‘please rewind the script and play that scene back; I want to stay in it for as long as I desire.’ It’s not about our desire but we continue to come back to hope it is. Once we start getting use to the idea that we just came here for the ride and we are not the driver with the GPS things get more smoother and we actually begin to realize the driver knows what he is doing and doesn’t need a back seat driver.... sitting in the backseat of his car.
