Steve, thanks for the prayers, they are sure needed now!

Presently, most commercial activities are closed and it's sort of a warlike curfew, we can go around but only if necessary and carrying along a signed statement. Police may fine us if there is no proved urgency to our movements.

I'm not much worried about myself, since in these occasions we reap the benefits of an healthy regime, which keeps the immune system well-reactive.

The remote probability though of going into intensive care is scaring. IC sections are overflown right now and going thru forced ventilation must be a torture. Extreme measures to contain the epidemic are justified.

Hope things will be better in the USA, but getting ready for the worst may be a good strategy.

Everything else is more or less all right. Still working but less intensely, I'm sleeping more now and did a lengthy research on health and longevity. Many interesting new stuff, most of it is included in the Yoga teachings though.

Meditation goes on, not as well as I'd like but I keep on.

I think that liking being alone and the benefits of retreating from ‘normal social interaction’ , being introspective and not being particularly a crowd follower yourself , being in the circumstances you now are subject to in Italy doesn’t really affect you quite so strongly as it would most other people— caught up in the rat race that makes such pandemics surface in the first place.

Eric, today it was a ghost town! And going out without a mask sort of makes you feel out of place.

Steve, I liked the 'old soul' post. I wonder if the expression 'decrepit soul' would sound like ameliorative or pejorative in that context!

All I can say is that I am diametrically opposed to the scholastic world of the intellect so in that context I refer the issue to one of our more literate members: perhaps Willie the Shake would come to our rescue if not Alfred Hitchcock may offer his take on the issue or Beatrice Landcaster may arrive with some back woods wisdom.  We haven’t heard for sometime from Rod Sterling; he may add a more cosmic view from the edges of space and time.

Seemed as good a time as any for me to pop back in especially since Eric has had experiences with the ‘ Lone Wolf  ‘ in his visions and dreams.

Subtle question. I wouldn't be old at all. Actually, the concept 'old' would be meaningless since I would not have a benchmark.
