I think most people are just kind of overwhelmed by all the tens of thousands of thoughts that go thru their brains a day; it’s just like we’re starting a baby walk by observing our thoughts at first. It all fits in to what has lead up to for my Self; the creation and perpetuation of this site - with the help and support of others here. We support most all meditation practices from different Masters and traditions. I was exposed to the Shambala tradition over 30 years ago In Kalamazoo Michigan. Two Buddhist meditation groups were held weekly there that I attended quite regularly. I remember at one point there was often one other person at the group meeting but like Eric and I here, that did not dissuade me. |
