Why do you feel drawn to one person but uncomfortable with another?

I haven't watched this video yet but wanted to comment on the title, because I am coming to some remembrance that there are forces working behind the scenes when two individuals come together and interact with one another. Sometimes the meaning of a relationship isn't so easy to understand, and the extent of our own desires can muddle the vision from what is actually taking place.
There is a Woman at my work whom I was drawn to. My urges to be recognized on an intimate level and attraction to her beauty are lessons of their own. On an intuitive level I know we had something to offer each other. While the direction of our relationship has changed its course, since the desire for romantic entanglement was one sided, the energy we shared is of great value where Spirit has recognized the two of us by sharing a common experience. We question if we've known each other in a past life, I've had dreams of this person sharing her thoughts with me and something even more profound. I've also discovered an amulet that belonged to her and we share the 888 time prompt together. At the very least Spirit has bridged our relationship to experience things on that deeper and more intimate level despite not sharing physically or romantically as defined by modern courtship.
As hard as it is to explain, here is my attempt- the connection is never dead, while the gravity towards this person was strong there was something happening on a subtle level not visible to either of us. An energetic transference took place which serves as continual building blocks for the souls progress towards God. Even though my Ego wanted to experience a physical intimacy with this person I no longer feel the extreme pulls that initially moved and confused me- yet on an intuitive level, I believe we have both given one another packets of information for assimilation. Now that this energy is transferred, the times we see each other or talk to each other have since toned down- life continues to guide us in our respective manners.
Perhaps it is this way with every person we connect with...

Thanks Eric. I also do not recall looking at the video above. Perhaps I will soon. The subject matter is most likely more important anyhow. Sometimes it is just a word or something someone says that triggers a whole line of thought and experiences that are of a personal nature.

At times in my life I remember friends and lovers from the past in this life. I am grateful for most connections I’ve had with others. However, some were painful and our relationship was of a challenging karmic nature that I attributed to past actions I have put in place that are forgotten. In some cases I’ve found that some people were very mean in their behaviors and I could not continue being with them because they were abusive towards other friends or myself. Or they may have decided they couldn’t be with me for various factors I may or may not have understood .

 No matter what people are sayin’ or playin’:
 we are lookin’ at their actions or reactions ..
to gain our traction.

Sometimes we share ‘karma’ from the past with certain people and we have ‘recollections’ when seeing them again.  It is good to follow our ‘hunches’. We may not have chance to meet them again for a long time.
