Title: "I Ain't Don't Know Nothing Y'all, Nothing At All", said Eve (Before the Fall)

Nothing at all

I'm a baby taking baby steps
Talking nonsense with nothing left to use
You lose
I win
The whole Universe is mine now!
HaHaHa!!

Reset...

Where am I?  I forgot
Face dripping meat popsicle snot
What is born will one day die and rot
Jesus forgive me, I am a THOT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjd5fSPjZLQ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjd5fSPjZLQ)

Jesus forgive me, I'm lost in thought
Or poetry, you know it's me

God
One
Love
Peace
Harmony

All Is We, morphing through Time

Silence
Holds the answer we seek

But ending the search... that's no fun!
Let's meet back here next week
Tweaking off coffee, feeling euphoric, then bleak
Damn...
Loose lips make ships leak
"Hebrew" in Hebrew is pronounced "EEE-VREEET"
Roads made of stone are "EEE-VRONE"
ET PHONE HOME https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xZif3WmG7I (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xZif3WmG7I)

Please don't leave me!
All Alone!
ALONE = ALL ONE

Depending on your "Pro Noun CEE AAY SHUN"

We're all Moons just reflecting the true Sun
If we're anything at all
In this never-ending New Years Eve Ball
Waiting for the Ball to drop before the the other shoe
Green with envy, Red with Anger, or Sad with Blue
Feeling that whole spectrum as we approach a new election cycle
Then watch it repeat
Endlessly
Endless Mes seek Endless Yous
With no use, but to remind
"Be Kind Rewind"
Back to the start, until the end
That which has no change is not pretend
All else is
Only
Temporary, or experienced rarely

But that which has seen it all
Eve before the Fall
Adam after it Happened

Who are we?
Who am I?

The only question worth asking which has no answer...

On Prancer, on Donnor, On Cupid on Blitzen!
Rudloph the Red Nosed Raindeer, still and silent, holds all the wisdom

All those temporary answers became nearly eternal prisons!
Better to be rid of them!
And instead of chicks & hens ruled by foxes in boxes
We strive to see right from wrong as the moment approaches

Or rather was alway here

Nowhere

In silence

Aum

Thanks Art for sharing your interests. The Kendrick Lumar  DNA song clutters my mind. It is overwhelming to me. I understand rhythm and feel it in lyrics but it is difficult to wrap the mind around it all when I am actually seeking relief from all the thoughts. What’s your take on it Art? Do all the lyrics give you peace of mind? Just seems like many songs today are crammed with thoughts and it overloads the consciousness with stuff to keep the mind occupied. Like; we’re all moons reflecting the true Sun... no credit was given!

Is your current path a musical one? Or do you still find time for spiritual practices like meditation as well?
You are good at non sequiturs.

Like this;

Thanks Eric!

And Thanks Steve!  Well, music and spirituality go hand in hand for us, right?

The non-sequiturs are definitely something I like...

Re: DNA

Kendrick has another song on the album called "Humble", so there is definitely some implication there of a surrender to God, and he's definitely a Spiritual dude.  "DNA" is a very angry song, quite punk rock.  Full of ideas, accusations alongside beautiful, positive affirmations.  Even the concept of "I've got loyalty, got royalty inside my DNA" is quite deep.  While the song is aimed mainly to be an empowering anthem for Humans of African descent, I'd say the concept goes much deeper even if you consider all Humans have 99.9% the same DNA, and our DNA goes as far back as single celled organisms at the "dawn of time", itself with traces of cosmic dust from the Big Bang... "We are all made of stardust" is another way of saying this, as Carl Sagan said.

But I wouldn't say this song gives me a feeling of peace.  To me, it's just a fun, impressive, high energy rap song, and I would dare to say Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper of all time, right now, and this song is a great example of his masterful lyricism and performance.

To feel peace, I'd listen to something much different, probably with no lyrics.  I listen to a lot of classical music and youtube videos for rain lately.

I'm definitely still meditating!  We just had a Self Enquiry meetup hear in Austin tonight, and I wouldn't have started that Meetup group if you hadn't maintained this website for Eric to invite me to, and then from Brock to introduce me to Ramana Maharshi and Self Enquiry!

Thank You Steve!! <3
Thank You Eric too!

I hope you both are having a great week! (:

Yea I posted under Meditation: pictures and sounds... a link to Hearts at Space... a good way to combine music and spirituality which reminds me of your music Art. Would also be interested to know about your ‘self-enquiry group’.

We've been meeting most Weds nights for the past year.  Last night we started with 5 mins of silence, then read from the book I AM THAT, recorded teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj.  Usually, it's intuitive or random where in a book we read from.  We end with 10-15 of silent sitting.  It usually last an hour and a half.

Other teachers of Self Enquiry we have read from include: Ramana Maharshi, Gangaji, Anandamayi Ma, Papaji, and Robert Adams.

They all basically say the same thing, "go to the source of I Am, and just be, let Silence be the teacher"

Our group size has varied from 3 to 9 people.

We usually hold it in this beautiful chapel, The Little House of Love, in South Austin.
