Title: That sweet spot Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 12, 2018 04:09 am Once you have had that experience of being in that sweet spot on the ground of being you will never forget it and always go back to meditation and attempt to be there again. The irony is that it seems to come quite naturally when you let go and have no expectations. It can come amidst noise around you or any other condition. It is difficult to be receptive when the mind needs to interject it’s opinion on every subject. One just continues to provide the circumstances and practices moments of silence and awareness till the ground of being puts us once again in that sweet spot that defies all description.
Title: Re: That sweet spot Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Mar 18, 2024 02:51 pm I’ve noticed that it can occur in for instance other activities as well. Quite often I think to my self before going jogging… “well here I go again”. I know I will feel good when I get over with this. But there are times when I do get absorbed in it and I don’t ‘think’ about how much further I have to go or that I’ve just started. Instead I’m absorbed in practicing a mantra and looking at the beauty of nature around me… or just following my breath. I think I’ve come along ways from counting numbers somewhat mechanically while 🏃♂️ running. Watching the breath flow to a mantra has helped tremendously. |
