Title: The People We Meet Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Oct 29, 2018 01:53 am Have you ever thought about the various people we meet in our lives and the significance of our encounters? Sometimes I have met very kind people who have been very supportive and helpful other times more tense relationships that at times can be restive but at other times helpful. I am a strong believer that the people in our lives give us a mirror image of some our own tendencies.If we have the help of gurus in our life we are often faced with people and situations that help us in our spiritual maturation. Sometimes we may meet others who are effected adversely by their environment and we also see how we ourselves let the world and our own environment destroy our inner peace. Some people’s minds reflect the inner turmoil that they see around them which is a good reason to make an effort at finding inner peace daily in meditation. Some people we meet are extremely helpful and we are aware how we are getting this help because we too have been that way to others.

I have once experienced the reflection in its clearest form by the grace of Babaji, who must have been responsible for aligning me with my mirrored self- we shattered each other in a moment Peace friend! That made me laugh! I remember reading once that Yogananda said something similar. He said ‘I killed Yogananda long ago’’. |
