Title: How do we compare? Post by: guest88 on Oct 09, 2018 09:03 am Compared to the rest of life on earth? A weird thought occurred to me tonight... There was admiration for our ability to create, warp metal to make stylish machines(referencing an old land cruiser I saw on my run) and just to manifest things in this world the way we do but also a gut wrenching thought that we may not be where we belong... And then later, I wondered, are we the only beings(that we know of) on this planet to enslave their own kind to exploit and profit off of some self created monetary system? I know dolphins have sex for pleasure and monkey's have tribes that go to war... So I just wonder, how we compare to the brother and sisters that share this planet with us... You know, we are kin, maybe that'll be more common place when we start to categorize life on other planets. |
