Spiritual Portal

Sometimes when we wake up at nite it is like having a lover wake us up who is sleeping beside us to express affection. But in this case it is the biggest lover of all; God wakes us up so we can go outdoors and experience the wide open expanse of the awesome sky and endless stars. We may energize and then be motivated to meditate in the middle of the nite when all is still except the sound of our breath to which we add our spiritual practice or mantra.

That is a loving place you are coming from. I was once awoken early in the AM by a feeling of much love. The feeling deteriorated after I decided to decline the invitation to meditate. I wonder if God weeps for us? I was regretful through out the day... Then I was happy to feel my regret, knowing I would not want to turn away God in such a manner again. Perhaps it is inevitable, but it is my Faith that says I will be graced with these lovely feeling's again... And I believe I will act upon the opportunity, whether it is in the middle of the night or early in the morning, as I have before. 

Dear friend, it is lovely 🥰 that you left your admission here for me to read because tonight I woke up to the sound of my breath and silence. I also was sleepy 🥱 but after reading your post i decided to meditate.
