Spiritual Portal

I am in some sort of monastery or spiritual comminity. I am given a couple ladders and asked to fix the awnings of a roof. I am given a log to do so. Also i am playing music with some kind of hancrafted instrument that i myself had some responsibility in learning how to get music out of it. I learned a couple basic tunes on it so i could join others playing it. However i have found that the tune i have learned is in a difficult key for the head of the group to sing. It seems that we are put on our own here and left to our own devices on our tasks.

The same nite i have a dream that i am with some guys and we happen to find the door of a building unlocked.We go in and explore the building. As we leave the building many of my friends leave their things there. I recognize that these things must be gathered up and come to get them. Security is now present and allows me to get my things but not those things my friends have left.

I am watching a very tall black man hitting his head on a counter. So i attempt successfully to stop him. Another friend comes to my aid. I used to do volunteer work at a mental institution as a kid.... and had seen such behavior there.

At a very young age I used to walk by myself and go to church in an old monastery that was really creepy and scary for a kid, black iron gates, shadowy bushes up the walkway, old building, many times I was the only one at the mass, well, the nuns and whoever lived there were above in a balcony you could not see unless you walked clear up to the front, which of course was out of the question, weird old place and had a smell to it, nice stained glass inside though. It was very odd. It's gone now.
