Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 28, 2017 03:23 pm Hi all, I haven't been writing for some time, hope everything is well with you guys! Hello McCoy very nice to hear from you and really have missed your presence. Someone payed for credits recently to keep advertisements off this site. Was that you? I have been very active myself lately playing music in bands. Yet have always found sometime for meditation. I think when we get this notion wonder if God had no time for us...This being that runs the universe...If she were to say ' I am so busy running the universe that i have no time for you' ...Hmmm I think would be a frightening thought... So the most important thing is to find time for God. Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: guest88 on Jun 28, 2017 08:03 pm McCoy!! Howdy bud! ;D I've been thinking about you since I started researching and pursuing healthier decisions. How have you been man! How are things on your side of the planet? :D Hope all is well with you too!
Cheers brother! Love from TX Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 29, 2017 06:15 am McCoy!! Love from TX Would agree with u...While my diet has not changed as drastically as his...It seems that we have been misled by years of experience telling us how important protean is while in fact it may deter longevity as we grow older! Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: mccoy on Jul 28, 2017 07:22 pm Steve, I've clicked for credit a couple of times this year but don't remember exactly when was last time.
Red, In America there si this craziness of dietary religions, people literally fight against each other beliefs! I wonder what you have changed. Abundant protein is needed for those who exercise strenuos labour, or those who train strenuosly with application of muscular strenght (not so much endurance).I'm presently trying a vegan diet but it is so obvious that protein is everywhere, it hardly constitutes a concern, unless we eat very little or we are fruitarians who don't eat huge amounts of food. Thanks so much mccoy....for keeping the ads off here! It is summer here in Michigan so i am able to stick to a predominantly fruit and vegetable diet. i believe it helps keep weight down as well. As you soon as you go for pastas, spaghetti, and wheat products the weight climbs with it. Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: mccoy on Jul 29, 2017 01:56 pm Steve, I've been reading a lot nutrition topics recently. This and problems in family have me kept pretty busy. Mental illness is a bad beast and one of the best achievements of Satan.
On the nutrition standpoint, the role of fruit and vegetables is clear. The primates eat fruit, foliage, tender sprouts, nuts, some insects and occasionally meat. The early hominids had a similar diet, adding tubers and roots, wild plants, legumes and cereals, honey. Very occasionally meat. Meat became prevalent only in some specific times and areas. Our system is built to digest everything but optimal health is achieved only when we eat what we've been eating for the most of 8 million years (from the start of primates evolution). This is also what implies Sri yukteswar in his holy science. Also, A very interesting model which came out from my studies: primates & hominids evolved in symbiosis with plants, feeding on plant-based food. This has caused our need for particular hormetic and xenohormetic pthytochemicals, those toxins produced by plants which trigger in our body genetic expressions and metabolic mechanisms which prevent cancer and degenerative disease. In a few words, if we want to fight most diseases, we need or we are helped by specific phytochemicals. These phytochemicals are abundant in plant-based foods, wild plants & berries, and many spices. I'm currently on prevention mode, on what I call an hormetic-xenohormetic diet (HXH diet, acronym I'm using). Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 19, 2021 12:04 am Hi all, I haven't been writing for some time, hope everything is well with you guys! Yea as soon as I saw you on the site today my spirits were lifted. I had some very blessed experiences today and you are one. I’ve found that Brother Bhaktananda was right when he said to me in person. ‘Stay in tune with the Master’s; read the SRF lessons a half hour a day.’ I also remember you talking a lot about diet. I want to tell you some of the new realizations I’ve had. How bout you? Gained new insights? Thanks for dropping by McCoy! May God bless you and your family. Prayers for you all. Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: mccoy on Apr 18, 2022 12:22 am I'm reading this post after 5 years. It's interesting to read myself conceptualizing stuff, after 5 years I almost forgot about it and now I wouldn't be able to be so eloquent about it. But what I wrote is probably true, how Anandamoy said, it belongs to one of God's spheres of thought, in the causal world, the Platonic world of ideas, which are genuine.
Title: Re: Hi All! Post by: mccoy on Apr 18, 2022 10:06 am And by the way, how are you guys doing? Steve still in Michigan? I'm still in Italy, things have been turbulent lately, either socially and in my personal life.

I'm still in Italy, things have been turbulent lately, either socially and in my personal life. Most people are experiencing the same turbulence lately… it’s a process of a great amount of social change presently happening on the earth plain. Those who are not sensitive to it would be like the walking dead. The Grateful Dead could play for us to delight in. A rattle of bones from the other side could bring an evening of delights. My soul is with people all over now but attempting to keep my equanimity as everything seems to be whirling every where around me, I attempt to maintain my peace in meditation with the guidance of the Gurus. Can you imagine what it would be like to be in a country where you are constantly seen as an outlaw because you would like to have democracy instead of a psychopath running your government? To have others look at you as a traitor because you want them to have freedom and legitimate free elections. That is what is happening in countries like Russia, North Korea and China. You would even be considered mentally ill. That is what almost happened here in the United States in the last presidential election. We also have four planets in Pisces with two in Taurus. Causing a battle of the planets as well. |
