I have finally started exercising again... upon roaming the backstreets of my neighborhood I ran into a brave robin. I think she was defending a nearby nest since she stood her ground and even advanced towards me the closer I got... then today I was fired from my job...

I Think I ran into the same Mother Robin the other morning since it was so close to the area from the last time.

The Robins were the first birds to reappear after our freezing temperatures and power outages. Now I see so many wherever I go. Beautiful birds.

It's my last full day to enjoy my time here in York, Pennsylvania. There are many Robins. And my Aunt Robyn has hosted us as we all re-learn and remember lessons and opportunities found in families and long standing relationships. I thought it important to come back and look at the Robin.

What I saw today was almost surreal. It is the beginning of February in Michigan, usually the coldest time of year. But today, although it was cold there were many robins in the front yard, almost like a swarm of them.



This is very significant for anyone with this bird as its totem. It reflects a need to sing your own song forth if you wish new growth. Any confrontations or hindrances are more show than actual threats, so go forward.”
