Tonite I was meditating out doors and a cat came up to me to make friends...The cat never left me...Until I had to leave myself.

I woke up at 4 this morning. I was sure I would be successful with an OBE this time due to my energy levels upon waking. No OBE, just a good nights rest. Before going back to sleep however I opened my shutters to let in some light. When doing so I noticed a cat sitting in the middle ofhe street looking back at me. There was no other activity going on so early. I for sure thought it to be a good sign for an out of body.. superstition I guess. Instead all I could do was think about my Sammy and Stella and pray for them..

Probably was looking back at you cuz you disturbed *his* peace.

Yes these cats can have some mood. Upon taking my late night jog I noticed many cats about, two of which were staring each other down. They were either about to fight or mate, even the jingling of keys in my pocket did not phase them this time.  ;D

Thank you Steve for sharing the wisdom of the cat. There is a particular cat that is fond of our driveway and even backyard. I seem to constantly run into this fellow and he reminds me of Sammy my last girl cat who I miss dearly and hope she's okay. He has the same patterns as her, I don't know if he's a boy cat just guessing.

This cat sought me out tonight ( see pictures ) It came to the car and jumped in and stayed with me about 30 minutes. I got out of the car and walked a ways and it followed me. I started energizing and it did it’s own exercises. Afterwards I made a fast run to the car jumped in and took off so I would not be followed.

My roommate told me that cats with long whiskers are very smart. I think it’s an old wise tale. However this cat had the longest whiskers I had ever seen. It really needed a shave bad!

thanks for the bump. just two nights ago i had a dream that i taught a cat how to attack not the toy but the person holding the toy who was then teasing the unimpressed cat. in my dream this cat was tired once he learned the human had control over his toy and for being bat on the head one to many times. anytime someone would pick the toy up, if the cat wasn't in the mood, he knew to go for the fingers!  ;D

Think it’s cool you bumped this thread. Because just last night I had a dream. I was going on a long ride that was on a horse with someone else on another horse and I had a cat in a box. When we were about to leave I dropped the cat in some water near the side of a large lake or perhaps even an ocean. I was looking from above after we had been traveling for a while and saw that I had absentmindedly dropped the box. So we had to go all the way back to see if we could find the cat.

Tonights meditation was a beautiful wrapping up of today's adventures. Elegant, calming- and as I walked slowly down stairs I stopped in the hall way. The only light shining through was that from outside, a combination of moon light and house lamp. I took a moment here in stillness, placed my hands up and sent Love/Light echoing through out the house. Om Shanti was chanted briefly, and suddenly, I noticed through the glass door a cat walking up to our front yard. As I placed my focus on him, he stopped and looked back as if he felt my attention. He reminded me of one of the first, fluffier cats that would visit me as a child. "Bell" I thought. The first cat to ever visit me had a bell around her neck and I would place milk out for her from time to time. He sat down and took refuge by our front door for a minute- and by the time I had stopped, admittedly, I was all too entranced by the majesty of the moment. We both decided that was enough. The mystery of this feline, solitude and awareness, speaks to me on such a wonderful evening.

My dream from last night has manifested today. Literally one of the kids I saw in my dream was my cashier today at Whole Foods. And a lot of the feelings I was experiencing today had been relayed to me prior via the dream.

Anyways... I am not sure if this is related but I had to throw away a dead kitten. I went to the gas station and it was right at my feet. I told the attendant and he didn't care to do anything about it so I took care of it. A woman thanked me.

I was feeling pretty low just prior because this city doesn't feel very good anymore. It's okay, I have to make do and try to see the love and light. But sometimes the ghetto behavior and lack of education is really disheartening.

So I think the cat has a lot to do with magic. And I think a dead cat, and the fact that right after throwing away this kitten I saw the same kid from my dreams- has something to do with the magic of instant manifestation.

Interesting to note that I was up energizing at 4:20’am this morning and a pure white cat went by in the street. When I did the jogging and vigorous walking part of the exercises the cat looked at me curiously yet still moving on down the street.

Steve I just had a dream about an icy blue cat. I woke up at 3:45AM immediately afterwards. It was kind of like the colors of your forum. What a strange, 'coincidence' that you would post about a white cat here at the spiritual portal- and that you too were experiencing a bit of the 'witching' hour.
