Sorry ding dong but Carl Sagan lost my respect long ago. He is a born skeptic. I don't think he could believe in anything unless it was wacked over his head. Such a waste of a human incarnation! There is nothing beyond the senses in his book. But of course he never investigated either. It is also interesting that with the vast amount of people who have taken an interest in what they have seen and heard from outer space that u would have no account of such visable evidence and to casually caterogize them into people with long robes that look like religious figures is completely ridiculous and shows the incredulous biases of Mr.Sagan since I have not even heard of such reports and descriptions in my many investigations.

Carl Sagan devoted a whole hour to the Yugas the Big Bang and the awesome understanding the Indian people have of time and it's social and evolutionary consequences. This was on his show Cosmos. To show his incredulous dismissals, although he gave credit to the rishis for having such views that predated any modern science, he wrote them and their massive knowledge as being 'coincidence'.
