Title: The ego is a fiction Post by: ding dong on Dec 04, 2016 02:37 am The ego doesn't actually exist and that is just who wants to become enlightened. Enlightenment becomes a goal which will be great attainment. But really the one who would attain enlightenment only seems exist. The seeker is actually a mere phantom,, a long running thought process. What is described as enlightenment is the ending of the condition of individualized, separate selfhood.
Hence, no one becomes enlightened. Only when we are not there, enlightenment shines. It must be something like a mirror with steam. The steam is going to see it's enlightened reflection? It blocks the reflective quality of the mirror. Really we don't have egos that we carry around inside of us, rather we are egos. Nobody is your guru, because your Guru is nobody. A Guru is someone who has realized (not just partially as I am here) the ego (individual self) as illusory. If they were somebody, they couldn't be a Guru now could they? And since nobody really exists, everyone is the Guru. Because everybody is nobody. Only we often are deluded into thinking we are a somebody, getting somewhere, which is maya. :o Title: Re: The ego is a fiction Post by: ding dong on Dec 04, 2016 02:50 am Found this on bing...
