The Goldenhour at dawn is often an awakening call and a splendid time to meditate.That is what the first verse is all about.

The second verse is about laughter and the craziness of life. Sometimes the jokes life play on us are halarious but if we take it too seriously we will miss the punch lines - the unexpected moments that glare before us in sparkling laughter. Those epiphanies that all the other events are set up for to display.

When I performed it live in front of audiences I always like to include the last verse, because although all our heroes fade away the memories remain. Yours included. It is interesting how our memories change about people we’ve known. Many of those memories are transformed by our own transformations in life that change our perceptions and attitudes.
