Spiritual Portal

One of the most suffocating and limiting ego energy that i have seen people place on spiritual expansion is pride of pedegree. That is because people isolate themselves from other spiritual contacts and limit their energy to family only. Most of their so called family is not family at all but blood line and ancestral worship. Most of my so called family was living in the flesh years ago when i recognized this; That is; for karmic reasons i was born into a material family that did not spend time on expansive spiritual practices and were a very poor example on my life because in this sense they just fell into the ignorance and normalacy of maya.

i started out in my own isolation until i recognized my true family in spiritual contacts which are here and have been at monasteries, churches and have spontaneously popped up in my life as a result of prayer for spiritual friends. Without such contacts i would have never been able to undertake hours of meditation a day and sometimes 6 and 8 hour meditations stilling the mind and being 'receptive ' to higher experiences of true reality. Still being receptive itself is a life long practice to even begin to get. Such is where i find myself.
