Title: Helping out when times are difficult. Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Sep 05, 2016 12:32 pm I am just ending a pilgrimage to Nashville to visit a spiritual friend. It was really a pick up for me. We r really fortunate to have friends who stick around when life knocks our socks off for a while! And where our those people that claimed undying love and eternal friendship for us at one time? Words are cheap. Don't want to b a killjoy but we need to b grateful for those who always are around in some way and mean what they have said.

There is an intersting story surrounding the Hollywood Temple. I do not know if u have heard it. The temple is on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood California. There are three corners each one has large buildings on it owned by Kaiser Hospital. Kaiser wanted the last corner and called SRF to buy it. A nun answered the phone and the Self Realization Fellowship was not interested in selling it. The representative of Kaiser was persistent and said "💰 Money speaks. The conversation was terminated by the nun saying; "Around here it doesn't even whisper." |
