If someone is making up a new word or creating a new meaning they should explain themselves...otherwise it just sounds like a 'smart ass' talking trying to demean a wonderful experience. But he remains an atheist. I had a teacher once that I greatly respected and he used that phrase bad miracle. It is an atheist joke. It is hard to come to feel that suffering is also grace. But that is what some saints say. |
