Who are the beautiful people we meet in dreams? Last nite i had a dream and some one was in it that had her own personality and was a soul i had never seen before in this life. i kept thinking she would disappear or was gone but she kept returning. i spent much time with her but do not recall ever seeing her in this life. She was someone that practiced meditation and was quite interested in the spiritual life. She and i were talking about how people can be very intuitive and pick up your thoughts. Have you ever seen how you can be thinking about someone and suddenly they turn around and look at you as if they had picked up your thoughts. That's what we were discussing. Brother Bhaktananda was there for a short time at one point and looked at us from a distance as though picking up on our thoughts as well.

sounds lovely steve. do you think this dream could have aspects of yourself kind of, reinforcing some current thinking ?

i think that the more we learn the more we find out we do not know. But at least we become more aware of what is right for us and we can clearly see mistakes being made by others so that we stay free from their presence and influence. To answer your question directly: Yes that is possible. Because i often wonder about the thoughts of others and thought transference as well as telepathy. So it stands to reason that i would continue to ponder this issue in my dreams as well. These people that are never before seen though.... Where do they come from? Or is it that just as when we wake up, we can meet new people, we also can meet them in our dreams?
