Title: The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Aug 13, 2009 05:18 am i have read th7is chapter many times. It is my favorite part of the AOY. Although some of the other chapters are a close second. i think what amazes me about this chapter is that it maps out just where our soul will go as it ascends along the path. It also gives us a rather disenchanting look at are illusions that we have while percieving our reality to be this earth plain of existence. i wonder if any of the rest of you have found this chapter as interesting as me? Having read a most of it today i found myself in tears. i think the feelings arises from the bliss that we can and do expereince as we raise our consciousness to such levels.

At one time i must have been in tune with my astral counterpart! If only now i could also see 'creation as exhaustless expressions of changing light! "communication among the astral inhabitants is held entirely by astral telepathy and television; there is none of the confusion and misunderstanding of the written and spoken word which earth-dwellers must endure." "Tell all! Whosoever knows by nirbikalpa realization that your earth is a dream of God can come to the finer drea-created planet of Hiranyaloka" Sri Yukteswar in the Autobiography of a Yogi Title: Re: The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar Post by: guest66 on Oct 29, 2009 05:44 pm Hi, Steve.
That chapter is also my favourite part of "Autobiography"- "Friends of other lives immediately recognise one another in the astral world. Recognising the immortality of friendship, they realise the indestructibility of love, so often doubted at the time of sad, delusive parting from this earth." How I love that quote... LTL. The interesting thing i find about this life is that the more we manifest the astral here on this earth the more we recognize those friends now....
