Pictures are in this area or Meditation/Meditation Pictures i put ours under visual art and photos because i did not think that they were specifically referring to meditation. There is also a picture section under 'Freedom to Express'. So you may put pictures in a place that fits your interest and you deem important... Art and Creative Expression, Meditation or Freedom of Expression. i am obviously not a photographer but i did take the picture of myself so i put it under Art and Creative Expression. Hope that makes sense! i hope to take more pictures of Michigan in the Spring very soon.

Is the photo limit used up? It looks like there are only 3 photos in all the galleries? Tried to upload but said was out of space?

SI we seem to have to pay for more space. i think they have curtailed us though because u used to b able to have many more pictures at the top of the forum and in storage. Of course u can upload as many pictures as u want on threads and in replies. We may eventually try to find a better formula/host. In the meantime i would suggest deleting the candle or the campfire so that u can put your own pictures on top of the forum. Thanks for asking. Yes it would be nice to have someone else's photos then my own! For some reason i am unable to delete the Yogananda photo without deleting the whole category. Could u help?

Read my last reply to u. How do u get that kind of interpretation out of it?

As u see i was able to download another picture. Perhaps u exceeded the size or space limits. Be sure to read the reply after posting the picture. If u still have problems call me and we will go thru it together To make the size work u often have to take the picture to photo bucket or instagram.

When I looked at SMFforFree I really could not find anything about moving from them to your own shared host. You will probably have to just ask them and they will probably try to charge you for your database.

I believe the hosting provider for the domain name should have something like cpanel, if not phpmyadmin should be able to dump all the data to a flat file. From there it's a matter of writing or finding a script to import data to whatever forum would be used instead.

i have seen this message many many times! As i said before u will need to delete the other pictures. i was able to upload a picture as u see at the top of the forum. i just did this tonite after u said u could not. Now it is overloaded. Delete the campfire then the candle lite and after that the picture of Amma and finally the blackbird. u can put up all new pictures if u would like. Did u try deleting the pictures as i mentioned before? It would b nice to have your pictures!

U must delete those pictures for room.

They take up my whole day. Yes i understand. But can u see it from my point of view? It is nice that u will communicate here. Many friends will not which makes communicating all the more challenging since we have to have time to take care of the responsibilities of our life as well.
Communication and friendship has taken on a whole new dimension since the advent of the internet. Now we can communicate with many people and gain many friendships. Although many people still prefer to live in the past and old ways of communicating others refuse to communicate unless it is on their terms.

You r an administrator. Look at the top of the forum each time u change a a screen a credit will be taken from the tally above. i do not think it is shown on visitors sites.

That is because others are changing scenes and screens which is lowering the tally... visitors as well.

Right it's page hits is what it is, any time a page is requested from the server, that looks like 1 credit.

As I have said before, I'm willing to chip in for costs, I think the wall I ran up against was that SMF looks like a slightly different database architecture than most other forums out there, so even if we could dump all the data to a file, there maybe some work there trying to then get that data back into a different architecture, not impossible though. I need to keep looking for a solution for that.

i believe between u and b we will eventually have to move our forum. We still need to consider the amenities we have here but change is inevitable. The scope and technical aspects of this procedure are beyond my expertise.

They are within the parameters of a negotiated insanity.

Well I don't see any upgrade choice or management option to expand or add more drive space for photos. Am I not seeing it?

We have added a new 1gig in attachment/gallery space upgrade.

We have also increased the amount of space given for the old attachment space upgrades.
