Title: The Roles We Play
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Nov 25, 2015 04:00 pm
I wonder how many of us our satisfied with the roles we play? I often wonder about mine. Many times it just seem like i don't play it  as effectively as I could. i find myself not always enjoying it like I have seen Amma in her role enjoying it.

I think the destiny of all men is not to sit in the rubble of their own making but to reach out for an ultimate perfection which is to be had. At the moment, it is a dream. But as of the moment we clasp hands with our neighbor, we build the first span to bridge the gap between the young and the old. At this hour, it’s a wish. But we have it within our power to make it a reality. If you want to prove that God is not dead, first prove that man is alive.

Steve, welcome to the club! Rather than unsatisfied I'm resigned to the role I'm playing, which maybe is worse!

i guess I'm still in a state of awe after seeing Amma again. Here is a woman that is in a literal prison cell hugging people all day and nite long with everyone crowding in on her but is eternally concerned and happy... smiling and connecting with each soul she meets. It is just overwhelming when we think of our potential and where we find our consciousness and awareness. Should we start a backsliding club mccoy? LOL

It may be said with a degree of assurance that not everything that meets the eye is as it appears.

Ya all been sticken yo head in those dusty old books and sniffen' in some twilight where the sun never shines. Otherwise y'all would Com to meet the old folks back home and extend yo welcome where I'm from.

Good observation Eric. Sometimes we don't  know that changed role we r supposed to b playing. We play a role that is out of kilter with the situation.
