Title: Cooperation Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Oct 08, 2015 10:35 am Cooperation is working together towards the same end. Spirituality. That is what we are working towards. Liberation that is what we want. Love. That is what we want to experience.
It seems to me that meeting people half way and cooperation is essential in getting along. i have found that people who are 'set' in their views and cannot accept the views of others eventually fall out of my life. It seems very important for people to accept the imperfections and differences in others. Otherwise friends and companions become alienated. It also seems important to find those feathers that flock together for the same purpose otherwise we are made to feel out of place and weird in our practices and beliefs. We need others who support us in for instance; spiritual practice and meditation... not people who make fun of it or have no concept of our practices. Title: Re: Cooperation Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Oct 18, 2015 01:29 am We on the portal have very different views on many issues. However we know that unless we get along we will have no spiritual friends because people who meditate and are making an attempt at spiritual progress are rather rare comparatively speaking... at least at this time in history. We must be grateful for what we have or suffer the consequences. Now, that's an undisputable truth. Even though we have different views, we should discuss them in a detached way, or at least not let ourselves be ruffled by diversities. In the other forum, a couple of posters left because they didn't like what I wrote on gay marriage. They concentrated on their own sensitive ideas rather than on discussion with other spiritual people. I appreciate Steve and the other friends here because they understood that the basic concept here is discussion within spiritually inclined persons, whatever the discussion will be. It is important for me to recognize that views are not usually looked at from a divine perspective but rather a personal perspective conditioned by karma and many incarnations of influence as well as this very small period of time called our lifetime. On the other hand it is somewhat clear to many here that we are evolving and many old souls r finding like congregation. This is really much more significant then the events surrounding this moment of history which can b looked at quite subjectively. Until all the facts are in; and a divine perspective is attained it is very difficult to know with certainty what we are perceiving and it's overall significance in our own personal evolution and the general effect it will have on history and society. |
