Title: Going with the flow.
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Aug 17, 2015 08:36 am
Often it is better to be more accepting about what life has dished out and do the best with what you have. Everybody says it. But what does it mean?

Trying to improve circumstances while recognizing there are karmic things going on that we may not always be able to change in the immediate future. To have gratitude for what is happening. To not constantly fret over the little things. To learn from unfolding events around us. To be calm amidst all the turbulence and strife that sometimes arise. Perhaps this is part of what it means to go with the flow.

Hi Steve.

Being the personality that I am, I find it more difficult to go with the flow then most but I believe this is to be one of my greatest lessons this incarnation.

Whenever my heart begins to open I feel a need to maintain control or experience life in a particular manner. I begin to set expectations and find I am emotionally dependent.

Being around a free-spirited person can be tormenting if my Heart begins to Love them because I want more and more. Love can be real but not experienced in the way the way I want. Recognizing this is not always so easy.

Going with the flow and being less dependent of others is quite the task when you yearn for intimacy on a deeper level. Feeling Grateful for our exchanges and forging understanding, as limited as that understanding might be, may be what helps me go with the flow.

From my current perspective, to Love and Let God often times seem a contradiction but I do feel there are rewards for mastering this Ideology.

Peace friend.

We are aways looking for something more deeper and intimate. This is the soul longing for recognition. No human being can really give this to us. It is up to us to keep looking....To keep meditating...   and at times we will gain a recognition of what we seek. The closer we get the more that people and places around us reflect that soul awareness and the further we go.....The more we get battered by the world.

Quite a revelation here. I am glad you are able to introspect enough to recognize all this. What I’ve recognized lately is that I also could have reacted differently to circumstances as they have unfolded around me. And having learned that; I do feel as though I will find better ways to express myself to spontaneous circumstances.

We can see others react or act rigidly to circumstances but we can break out of that mindset and behavior by showing our ability to encounter all circumstances with an inner enthusiasm to express gratitude and appreciation for people we have known and just meet. This is my resolution for the future and the present moment.
