Title: Under the Bed
Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jul 19, 2009 12:34 pm
Please help me understand my dream. One of the members of Soul Searching told me in a dream that there is a light under my bed:
What does it mean and do you know who you are
????

One can not be held responsible for what one does in a dream state. Often one does not have total control of what is happening in this state of being. One often is aware that something is happening but can not always control  the scene.

But I would like to inject a thought on this as I see it . lol

I believe you do have a light under your bed...you are very gifted..your soul is pure ....and i beleive you quite frequently go to the higher planes and intereact with the higher beings during your sleep time.

Hey Steve. This sounds like a spiritual dream. One of the first things I do if I have a dream and I want to know if it has a meaning is determining if the dream is of the world only to haunt me or a spiritual dream, I like spiritual dreams, the others are just dreams.

It seems as though the light under the bed represents you or your soul in a past life. Someone telling you the light is under your bed is your past rememberance of this person and therefore not someone actually telling you a light is there but your remembering this person represented in a dream. The light is reminding you though you may not have seen the light you do know that it is there. The light is the light of God as well as the light of a past life that cannot be extinguished. You didn't even need someone to tell you about this light because deep down you know it is there, then again maybe you needed to tell yourself in a dream about the light. Your own spirituality as well as indestructible fragments of the structure of thinking patterns of a past life reflected off of the infinite (God's Love) allowed you to create this dream. In other words, God was so gracious as to hold a mirror up to your various states of consciousness while you were sleeping and the dream you described is the result.

Please allow me to refer to AY for a remedy. ....... I'm out of the office at this time, from memory I suggest what the great Lahiri Mahasaya might say, whatever the problem, Kriya is the solution. I should tell myself this one, I better hurry up and qualify for Kriya.

I hope my input helps Steve.

Gives new meaning to the phrase " I've seen the light " . Question is, do you know ?
now, about those spiderwebs..........

Thanks Goldwolf i also have dreams that show my fears. i do not think these help us if we already know them. So i will remember what you said about Kriya and pray that these thoughts do not haunt me. i wonder why you thought that the person saying this is from a past life?

How about this Steve. You will within 24 hours of reading this remember something of your childhood that relates to your dream, perhaps a part of the dream that you didn't tell anybody.

I know the person is from a past life. I don't know how I know I just know. What does it matter anyway how I know. Some animals, insects included, have incredible instincts, they don't know how they know either. If an animal can do it why not a human being?

Goldwolf The only experience that i can relate to you about my childhood with regards to dreams is this: When i was still a child i used to have nightmares. One nite i made the decision that i wanted to stop them. i reminded myself every nite before going to bed that i would wake myself if i had a nit3mare. So when i had a nitemare i would hear this little voice say "Yes but you are only dreaming" and i would wake myself. In this way i rid7ed myself of nitemares.

In childhood, fears are known to hide under the bed and in closets. Surprise them !! Open the door, look under the bed and say " hello  " .

Maybe i have been 'shedding the light' on a few of those hidden fears. Exposing them and letting them go...

god knows not fear.  when one is with god...there is no fear.

when one seeks god, in order to be with god in the fullest, fear must not reside within.

when we draw closer and closer to god...you will find your fears diminish.  with gods help...they vanish.

when one is with god...there is only absolute...not one not two, but absolute.  when one is with god, he fills all voids...there is no room for anything else to take residence.

((((Hugs))))

I'm not Steve but this brought to mind the thought that one of the ways that we, human beings, differ from animals who like us, can have highly developed instincts, is that we have imagination at our disposal to escape reality. We intentionally and unintentionally dwell in daydreams, imagining all sorts of scenarios  for ourselves...  An interesting tendency that is fruitful to observe and hopefully learn from.

We intentionally and unintentionally dwell in daydreams, imagining all sorts of scenarios  for ourselves...  An interesting tendency that is fruitful to observe and hopefully learn from.

I have learned that my imagination often takes me places in the past and entertains desires and passions that serve no fruitful purpose. Many times I wonder if others think of me when I think of them. However it is dissolutioning to think it is just my imagination. Sometimes other people come into our life and incite our imagination with ideas and passions that have little or no basis in realty. I consider this to often be an abuse of imagination.  Having such a vivid imagination we often use this gift in an unhelpful way to ourselves and others.

Neptune is the planet connected to imagination. Those having this planet active in their charts or those who find themselves with very active imaginations need to find an outlet for such activity.

Spiritual imagination is often true because anything is possible. Yet we often have to be very careful that we do not project our imaginings on others. I have noticed that the perversions of the mind often make out circumstances and people  to be very different then they are.
People mistake their intution  and understanding for what is really just our imagination.

I found Serena's observation insightful and thought provoking. Though animals are a wonderful addition to this human dimension we have geat differences and the angelic realm
is just as different to imagine. Some animals are very human like as some humans are angelic
One can certainly imagine.

This was such a long time ago! Yet I still remember the feeling of spirits of some sort coming in my room rather loudly, walking and then standing at the foot of my bed. I would peek out of the covers and they would be gone. Were they never really there?
