Title: Desires Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jul 20, 2014 10:24 pm It interests me to see so many people in different groups, involved with different people and having individual partners because they satisfy certain desires. Since we gravitate unconsciously to certain partners groups ect...Perhaps if we were more conscious of this then our choice of associates, partners and groups would be better for us spiritually speaking.
Paramahansa Yogananda states: "Only those who meditate realize that behind the super conscious mind there is a land of eternal happiness." So are these other things we are seeking of an eternal nature? He also says that "Finding peace within you, you will know that whatever in life gives you lasting peace, is declaring to you the presence of God without as well as within."
