This main dude from this "comedy band" The Lonely Island, is also my favorite comedian to come out of SNL since the 90s, and the newlywed husband to my favorite songwriter ever, Johanna Newsom. Both of these videos/songs address mortality in ingenious ways through comedy, in my opinion. This "Grave Plot" clip is more of a parody of the materialistic culture we live in. I don't want to analyze it to death before you see it and hopefully chuckle, but I've watched this clip about 50 times the past two weeks. Thanks Brock for showing me this tubechop site! I've read the Council of Nicea struck "reincarnation" from the Bible... A computer has a scroll bar at the bottom so you can scroll to the songs and play them. Zap helped me figure this out. |
