Title: Living in a Fish Bowel Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jun 06, 2014 01:38 am It is an unusual feeling living in a Fish Bowel. It is strange but sometimes it can be very lonely. I suppose i am a little fish in a little fish bowel. Much of my life i have had people watch me. Even now there are usually between 100 and 500 guests on this site during the busiest time of the day. You wonder about them. Perhaps most of them just find some interesting subjects and the active members are some what unimportant.
But this is only one fish bowel. What about the beings that are watching us in the fish bowel of this existance here on this earth? I would like to make more connections with them and with you out there. i remember writing a song once and this professional psychic was in the audience. After I played the song and told the audience how i wrote it i sat next to the psychic. She told me i did not write the song. I looked at her curiously and she said: "The spirit that wrote the song was behind you while you played the song", and she drew a picture of him. I guess even when we feel alone there are all kinds of guardian angels, gurus, saints and friends that are thinking of us and looking at us from the outside in. I remind myself of that. Some people I have known may not even know how much I still care about them and often pray for them. I am very much thinking about you out there reading this post. Maybe someday I will get to know you better. For NOW I will go deep within and connect with you there. I Love You all and thank-you for visiting! All of us... no matter how well known or unknown we all have moments of feeling very lonely. In moments like those i think of such thoughts. Of course God is always with us but he seems to have sent many kinds of spirits to comfort us. When we really connect with them we have this moment of recognition and a degree of God's love touches us. :D There seems to be more to say on the subject of loneliness. Another time... Title: Most People in the Fish Bowl Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Oct 20, 2015 05:19 pm We on the portal have very different views on many issues. However we know that unless we get along we will have no spiritual friends because people who meditate and are making an attempt at spiritual progress are rather rare comparatively speaking... at least at this time in history. We must be grateful for what we have or suffer the consequences. Now, that's an undisputable truth. Even though we have different views, we should discuss them in a detached way, or at least not let ourselves be ruffled by diversities. In the other forum, a couple of posters left because they didn't like what I wrote on gay marriage. They concentrated on their own sensitive ideas rather than on discussion with other spiritual people. I appreciate Steve and the other friends here because they understood that the basic concept here is discussion within spiritually inclined persons, whatever the discussion will be. Thanks mccoy i believe that we concur on many issues though we may have different degrees of opinions surrounding those views. It is very important to me that we do have similar views spiritually speaking. This to me is more important then anything. Most people in this world are involved in their own personal life. There own personal desires. Their own views. Their own possessions. Their own families. Their own professions. Most people do not find time for meditation nor spiritual company. Most people will waste this precious time we have in a human body to evolve further and at last free ourselves from this human funny farm we find ourselves in. Most people will not take the idea seriously--- why we are here and what our real purpose is in this life and even if they momentarily do think about such things they soon loose interest or believe it is hopeless to find out or perhaps think it is for someone else to figure out. But everyone will eventually have to come up with the answers. Most people are only postponing the inevitable. How long will we swim around this human fish bowl and not notice all those peering in on us. We may think of ourselves as large fish but we are in a very small fish bowl and have very little or no concept of what is going on on the outside looking in. We are on the inside only seeing a small area outside of our bowl. Most people can not even see beyond their own personal lives let alone see beyond the fish bowl of this life. Most people will not take the idea seriously--- why we are here and what our real purpose is in this life and even if they momentarily do think about such things they soon loose interest or believe it is hopeless to find out or perhaps think it is for someone else to figure out. My feeling is they are uncomfortable, they cannot see the highest value. |
