Title: how music effect the body
Post by: Lauraa49 on Jul 13, 2009 11:26 pm
STEVE)))))))))))))))) I have a question...don't know if you have the answer ...but something I have wondered about for  awhile..

Why is it certain music just moves you....
I mean literally  moves your soul??????

Is it the tone or the vibration of the chords.

Let me explain a little of where I am coming from.

When I hear music I like it or love it . I may tap my fingers or my feet.
But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when I hear the first few chords of a old blueeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeee
song my soul literally spasms......I don't have to hear the lyrics  just the music.

needless to say I love love love the blues...but it is more then just the enjoyment of it ......

Could it be the vibration of the chording  i.... could it be it matches my bodies vibration?????

what do you think???????

Past life affinities linger over into this life and thus you experience and relive these memories in music.

Well that makes much sense. I have had numerous nightly  lucid dreaams of being in the deep south. Some during slave times and others like in the 20's or maybe 30's.

so that stands to reason that i would enjoy the blues.  Makes me wonder if I was  a musician or a  BLUES SINGER back in the day....

woooo hoooooooo just call me Moms Mabley
omg that just told my age

thanks Steve for once again giving me something to think about......

well, helloooooooooo Moms Mabley ;D, no clue who she is, actually even though I like blue, I don't like the blues. Jazz just isn't my cup of tea......

which brings me to a musical question, blues & Jazz are two different styles correct ? or can there be Blues Jazz ? hmmm, maybe this is it, one sings the Blues and Jazz is instrumental music ?

Very interesting idea Steve, I never thought about this happening with musical memories. So one's current musical preferences could have some past life connection........
