Not hell, but a condition where hell has been just avoided and prevails a mixed feeling of sorrow and joy for the missed danger.

Something I love about music, and art in general, is how the art is only complete when the observer receives it, and finds their personal meaning in it. To me, the song is basically a prayer of hope.
