Title: Perception Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Sep 01, 2013 12:12 am To me it is interesting that spiritual experiences and those experiences which come to us from the physical world, which reflect the spiritual world, can not and do not always need to fit into an explanation satisfactory to our human paradigms. The mind likes to classify and catagorize. But often when we meditate-more and more comes into our life that doesn't conform to our concepts.Yet we stiill try to fit it into our oncepts. Like art and some people: Sometimes we appreciate them on their own merits independent of our preconcieved notions....We find that much is being shown to us to strip away the way we are used to seeing reality. This is a liberating experience to recognize-awe inspiring to witness. Now: if I could just let it happen and not interfere, more and more would be clear. Sometimes we get this intuitive grasp...this gestalt that widens our perceptions. |
