Title: Consciousness Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Nov 04, 2012 09:25 am i was able to be involved with a longer meditation tonite. After coming out i had some insights.
It is amazing to me how some friends are making leaps and jumps in spiritual growth. Many of them seem to be doing this because they are not presently in a relationship. i am not saying this is a hard and fast rule but many of us are growing and flying towards a common destiny as a flock so to speak and the limitations of personal relationships seem to hold some others back spiritually speaking. Together as an expanding whole we influence each other and grow in many ways that very personal relationships can on the contrary confine our consciosness. i have some more to add to this but have to get to work right now.... om lukah samastha sukinu bhavantu Jitendra Title: Re: Consciousness Post by: yoshi on Nov 04, 2012 09:30 pm personal relationships limiting ? only if u let it. i suppose it all depends on the two in the relationship. the level of consciousness they are at....personality types...
i would say that they/relationships are quite the opposite, at least mine is. a partnership in growth. i just asked my partner....he agrees with my response. i will say however...that relationships can create more drama, if one is not well rooted in kutastha, or have understanding, compassion....etc family can be a source of drama.....friends can be a source of drama. relationships....can act as catalysts to god too. my partner encourages me to meditate. he is supportive of my spirituality. Just an insight that came to me after meditation. It was nice that we had a chance to meditate together. Wherein did this 'i' create such situations that are a source of drama or understanding and compassion? This can be our approach to this unfolding drama, this entertainment on the surround sound and screen of life. Do we blame our circumstances and the people in our lives or do we look back into this 'i' that has created all in our field of consciousness? Wherein does such limitation lie?
