Dan (Elfun) used to tell me 'We can do other people's stuff. But why do that if you have your own stuff to offer to the world.' To have another musician recognize my abilities and to encourage them. That was/is important to me. Yea, we had fun playing other people's stuff but thanks for always encouraging my own creativity. You can hear Dan play drums on 'If You Want to GO' on the Soul Searching CD. i suppose that was his signature for my leaving; 'If you want to go. You can really go. I''ll send you on your way.'
