Title: Muladhara Chakra Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Jan 23, 2012 12:10 am hi Steve! Lord Ganesha is the deity of muladhar chakra. We worship him in start of anything good. I visited many places associated with Ramkrishna Paramhansa, Ma Sharda devi, Swami Vivekanand, Sri Yukteshwar giri, PY, Master mahasaya at the end of year. It was beautiful. I also visited the house of PY . Vyagh geeta is a part of Mahabharta. I will look for its digital format. prabhat i was not aware that the deities have ruler-ship of certain chakras. It interested me since i have been doing quite a lot of chakra work lately. i was fortunate to stay in an ashram for several years called the Vivekananda ashram in Ganges Michigan. It was a beautiful place to live at and we got up and meditated in the shrine every morning between 3 and 4:30 Am. Arati ( i have spelled arti also) took place in the morning and evenings after meditation and before meals were served. We had all kinds of animals there including llamas, cats, dogs, chickens, roosters and goats. We used to pick blueberries and hike into the wilderness to meditate and exercise. We had a large spiritual library there and could go up into it and overlook some of the land. There were huge poplar trees that would shimmer in the Michigan breeze and you could hear the leaves flicker in the wind as you settled into meditation! Also the howl of the winter winds later in the year. i wonder if u felt the vibration of the Masters where u traveled and what part of India was it? I have read about that in a book by Paramhansa Prajyanand also I think gurudev Ranjan kumar Sinha has mentioned me. I wish you should be able to with talk him. He is very good in astrology. He is a master. He helps who are on your spiritual path. We visited eastern part of India namely two states West bengal and Orissa. I felt peace at many places including belur where the ashes of Ramkrishna is kept. At karar ashram I sat at Samadhi of Yukteshwar Giri for a few minutes when I was going away I touched a nearby tree and felt a electric charge. Always good to see you posting about your interesting spiritual experiences and the customs, traditions found in your country. Such unique experiences you have been able to participate in. Pranams to Prabhatsinha i know that many people i have met who meditate a lot have felt electrical charges from other people yet i have never heard it from a tree. Thanks for sharing. Someone i know who meditates every day put their hand on my back and felt an electrical charge so even common people like ourselves seem to have the ability to sometimes emit electrical charges from our body to others.
