Title: Personalizing our relationship with God Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on May 28, 2011 03:55 am It seems to me that if u have the good fortune of having spiritual friends u recognize that they personalize their relationship with God in their own way. Sometimes it takes a while to get into another's sadhana (spiritual practice) but after being around these kind of friends you start incorporating some of their spiritual practices into your own. It is like when you think of these friends; you think of God. What a wonderful thought. In the process let me give an example of just some of the dear friends i have met here at soul searching and some of their practices that have become more personal to my own life. Into Blue: when i think of her i think of angels since she introduced me to their help and guidance. Yoshi: i think of the katastha and look their thinking of her and others. It has become a personal way to pray. Nomaste: Divine Mother. Not only does he often mention her but he exemplifies divine mothers blessings in my life. Hope you have some examples. Serena: Beauty and Gods beauty and appreciation of that beauty. Squirrel: Short phrases of wisdom to remind us. God works thru our friends and our circumstances daily. Eric: all the totems and omens to guide us. If i have left u out it is only because they have been around longer and soon i will understand your unique contribution to Gods expression as well.

if one would look at us as puzzle pieces. when god brings us together.....he brings us pieces that fit together to make the puzzle whole. i see my friends here like this. the 'things' i lack....my friends help make me whole....by god bringing us together. god is like the glue between the pieces...holding / bonding us together. (((Jitendra))) <3<3<3 you bring me poppa....( i sometimes call god momma-poppa ;) ). poppa to me, is strength and knowledge :) u have helped me regain strength...and thru your knowledge, u help me see life through a different view / perspective,,,things that i do not always 'catch'. a few concepts i have changed that have helped me grow closer to God... realizing that God is not vengeful / full of wrath, ready to punish us. rather, that God is all Loving...."the Ultimate Lover", God has been named by Masters. God created us...his 'babies' out of Love....God has created creation for us....created this physical world out of Love for us....to help us...for us to 'enjoy' and learn from. God...is both male and female....knowledge and love. God is tangible. God...is 'obtainable' for all....not only Masters. God...'speaks' to us all the time in audible voice...((( AUM ))) or ((( OM )))...it comes to us as a 'ringing in the head'.
