Starting to feel a little better both meds are kicking in finally able to sleep and trying to get
caught up on things! Will know more after my appt tomorrow! Still waiting on MRI results! Doubt i will
be back to work soon but happy the pain is easing!!

watch those vic's please sis.   i was prescribed vic's after my hernia surgery....i accidently overlapped dosages.....when doing that, it affects one's breathing....as in, breathing ceases.

Thanks! My cousin told me I can take 2 at a time if i need to otherwise i try and keep it within the 6 hours!

Overlapping is easy to do especially when your in so much pain!!

holding at 49% i been resting and following doctor's orders why i haven't really been here!

I am much better today had reiki this morning got my stitches out surgeons appt i go back June 7th! Not sure when or if
i can return to work! Then i had physical therapy today too so i am beat!

Its been a tough couple months!! but it's all good! Just gonna go with the flow and take things
one day at a time its all i can do for now!

I been taking it slow i had to cancel therapy for today been in so much pain since last time i went to therapy!

Just resting and taking it easy i will resume Therapy on Thurs! Might have to go back to the Doctor soon too!

on track! I am feeling close to 65-70%!! My goal is to be 75-80% by the end of the month!

Making great progress in Therapy!! Things are moving right along as its only gonna get better!

Feeling pretty good last couple days! Even went for 2 walks yesterday and starting to rebuild my strength!!

Thought i would give ya all an update i'm still stuck at 75% think i'll be at this range for awhile! I'm almost half way thru
recovery! Starting to relax and enjoy the time off! Spending time with family and friends that i would never have done if
i was working!!

I will know tues how much longer i will be off work so right now i am stuck!! I'm positive everything will fall
into place!!! I miss my friends not the job! hehe  ;D

Awe thanks Into Blue!! Opps I got the date mixed up on the Surgeon's appt! It's Thurs the 9th!! I was all set to go and
almost out the door when they called!! Must of been outta it with pain when they set that up!! Oh well I rarely make that
mistake kinda laughing about it now!!   :D

I agree it's not always easy to be positive but it does help!! :)

Today is the best I have felt!! 80% today i am getting stronger every day!! Getting there!!  ;D

Well Therapy went great today making good progress!! Only in the 6th week can't start really strengthening till the 8th week!
Got the surgeon's appt tomorrow morning! She said no way on work yet! but my med leave runs out that is the only thing
that worries me right now but i can ask for an extended personal leave and maybe get some type of disability for a month or 2!

Keeping positive!!! Would be cool to have the entire summer off!! HEHE

Letting ya all know everything worked in my favor!! I am off work till July 5th i could of went back but he
didn't want me to re-injure it so! He said i am looking great making great progress!

Right now my system is starting to detox from Vicodin wow aweful stuff! I was so not in my right mind over the past
couple of months!!  Been off it for a couple days still not feeling the best but after today i should be ok!

I can see where people get addicted to this stuff!!

Thank you Steve and Into Blue for your continued healing and prayers it very appreciated! It's been a tough year end of April will be a 1 year since the surgery i should of known there would be a few setbacks with this type of surgery! I am just happy it's not my right arm lol!!  ;D

I am understanding the reasons behind the Universe slowing me down this past year and now!! My goal this year is to regain strength in the shoulder and get back to work full-time starting to miss my friends!

Giving ya all an update! I had to get a steroid shot to try and get the swelling down! The MRI showed Tendons pressuring against the rotator cuff! Gotta do surgery was gonna try in a month to see if the shot kicks in first! Ordered to Strict rest! I'm gonna see if we can move the surgery up some!! Still got that positive attitude!!  ;D

Wow Comet, still having those shoulder problems . Sorry to hear that. I hope the shot helps with getting the swelling down and that the next surgery goes well.

Thanks for keeping me in your prayers Nitewish i really appreciate it! The shoulder is still giving me mega problems I am ordered to strict rest till June 21st no PT or anything to see if the swelling goes down then decide on the surgery!!! It is what it is!!! I'm still positive!!  ;D

I look at it this way i got another summer off!!  :D

Thanks for keeping me in your prayers I appreciate it!  It's been a tough few days but taking doctors advice and resting! The pain is still there just not as intense! Praying that the rest and the shot will do the trick! :)

LOL! Ya gotta stay positive in these situation it's hard but i am learning to relax and trust in The Universe more! LOL!  I thought i found that silver lining i was almost into independent therapy till this setback but thinking i was pushing myself too hard to get back to work! I was close but thinking i need to rethink about what direction i am going next cause at this stage i know i won't be able to handle the job anymore after 21-22 years think this is my ticket outta there!!  ;D

Not into movies but i am getting caught up on my reading, tv shows, dvd's and music! It's all good!!  ;D

I never been one to mediation i go for walks and stuff! I been talking to old and new friends! Go out to eat once in awhile! Time to head to the lake tomorrow and next weekend much needed family time! All kinds of things i can do to pass the time!  ;D

Just updating ya all the shoulder is getting worse the shot barely touched it! The soonest i can get in is May 29th in the afternoon! I am sure another surgery is needed!! Thanks again for the prayers I appreciate it!! :)

It's routine surgery for me now since i had this done last year i know what to expect so I am ready for it!!  ;D

I have heard that some people request music when undergoing surgery, have you ever heard of this ? I would think it might be distracting, of course, it would depend on the music.

Sorry I didn't mean to concern you but thanks for caring and keeping me in your thoughts!! Things are tough here trying to learn my limitations and new symptoms starting to occur! Trying to stay positive and go with the flow! I ended up with a 20% permanent partial disability of the left shoulder it's rotator cuff syndrome and trying to figure out what direction I wanna go to next!! 

I am still here just on the quiet side!! :)

Please continue to keep Comet in your prayers.  We can feel good for awhile and then have setbacks.
We also can have setbacks in our prayers.  Remember God often puts his favorite ones thru the most
trials. Do not listen to those who put all the blame on those who suffer. There are also divine reasons
for suffering.

Parmahansa Yogananda said that he would argue with God like a son would argue with his father. One of the
things he wanted to know is why he would put the people of India thru so much suffering when they
have been so devoted to him. God answered that he often placed his devotees thru tests to see how much
they loved him. He then answered Yogananda: India will be freed in your lifetime. As we can see now:
India is an example of what non violence can achieve. It is one more unique contribution to the world
and mankind that will change the world forever.

Yes i agree and understand the reasons for going through things i have battled health problems all my life and each one has made me stronger and appreciate my health more!! The past couple of years were tough but i am in the best place of my life!! :)


The MRI results of the neck showed i have a nodule of the Thyroid it's a very small lump about 1 cm! I gotta have blood work and a ultra sound tomorrow morning!!  My cousin who is my doctor is quick to get me in she doesn't think there is nerve damage or a pinch nerve i still gotta wait for the results of my Neurologist! Plus nerve testing March 6th!!  I am positive I got the best doctor and i trust my cousin with my life so i am very blessed to have her as my Doctor!! Plus i should get the results soon!! Hope it is just a minor setback!

Never take anything for granted especially your health cause you never know what is around the corner!! I learned a lot of powerful lessons through this and i am blessed to have such a great support of friends and family behind me that gives me the courage and strength to get through anything!! So thanks again Steve for beign such an awesome friend over the years it means a lot to me!! :)

Awe thanks Steve!! Yes it is great news i pray i don't need any more surgeries but yes happy to report that the tests were all negative including the MRI of the Shoulder and Neck!!! Still got the nerve testing on the 6th but my doctor doesn't think they will find any type of nerve damage!! YAY! The intense pain i am in is just in the muscle and after all the trauma to the shoulder it is gonna take a long time to heal but there already is a 20% permanent partial disability to it so just trying to ease the pain see what works and what doesn't!!

Thanks again for all the prayers and support the power of prayer is amazing sometimes!! :)

Sorry i been quiet over the last couple of days had a slight set back and shoulder started to freeze up on me again! It is slowly starting to feel better started to do some stretches iced/heat over the weekend and rested! I am back in Physical Therapy tomorrow! Dealt with this back in Jan 2012 forgot how painful this is but i know what to expect this time!! Gonna be a tough couple weeks in PT!!! LOL

Awe thanks for the continued prayers Steve!! I appreciate it and they do help!! Just had the NCS/EMG nerve testing today that was a wild test not fun at all but tolerable! Happy to report no nerve damage and the neurologist stands by what everyone else is saying the chronic pain is all in the muscle!! Super happy about that but still dealing with Frozen shoulder it's slowly starting to move forgot how painful that was i had this a year ago! I am in Physical Therapy Twice a week and chiropractor!! Getting a Massage Friday can't wait!!! I need it! LOL  ;D ;D

Hopefully now everything will start to fall into place with worker's comp so i can try and get my life back still got the 20% permanent partial disability and limitations deal with that once i get the frozen shoulder stronger!!
