As you no doubt no you are experiencing Mercury retrograde opposition your Mars. It interests me because i have not heard from you in the past few days. Since Mercury is starting it's stationary position the activity of it's retrogradation is bit more potent for you right now. It is possible for you to release some buried issues at this time with Mars in your 12th house natally. If you have any hidden feelings that you have repressed they should become more apparent to you at this time. i would think that soon your speaking voice would echo your inner feelings. Since Mars rules your 5th house activities this could brng out the tensions that exist-if any-with your son.

HI Steve, how does mars rule my fifth house when I have it in the twelfth?

Nomaste... Aries is on your fifth house cusp. Mars rules Aries. Therefore Mars rules your fifth house. Any activities that affect Mars will indicate
fifth house activy as well.  The ruler of the 5th house is in the 12th house. The activiies and energies involved with Mars will affect the activities that exisit behind the scenes (12th house) with your romantic/expressive/children (5th house) outlets in your life. Mars is posited in your 12th that is why your children affect your ability to express yourself. It should effect communication here on the forum: A very Mercury retrograde thing, you know, those misunderstandings. Though Mercury will soon go direct and we should see things clearer because it is a trine for you.

However, i read your position of Mars wrong it is 5' 22'' not 22 '5'' So Mercury will not retrograde that far back. Instead it will be nudge your Pluto in the 11th house of friendships and group activities.

Thats interesting cause Ive been considering getting back together with my children's father, who is a scorpio and he has venus in capricorn in the fifth house himself. Im not sure yet, cause of history, but with the situation with my son its caused us to talk and discuss if this is a possibility, which it is, but im still undecided on it.

i would also look to Pluto transiting your natal Mars for this. It is coming up forming a sextle from your house of values. What values do you hold on the subject? This may be important.

I value my kids being first in my life, and family, I suppose is the best way to put it. Whats best for them.

i do not doubt that Ellen. i just think you should consider how much you love the man and how much he is important to you also. Your kids will not be able to be happy if you are not. You see sometimes with a Saturn placement in the 5th house we can feel a responsibility towards our children that coud be misdirected especially considering it's placement to the Sun in your chart. Neptune transiting the bottom of your chart is a difficult time to make decisions regarding your home life. Although when Jupiter makes it's movement over the nadir this could indicate changes of a beneficial nature.

I know, thats why im deciding if I still do or not. Its been over three years since we've been together so we're seeing if its possible. Im taking this all very slooowwww.
