Title: god, are you calling me?
Post by: guest88 on Oct 04, 2010 01:36 am
it's faint and can be felt through the chest. there's something subtle, stirring inside me. the feeling may be small or hidden, but instantly i feel its potential calling out to me from the depths of soul and emotion. i'm sitting down, listening to music and staring out towards the sun; in the passing of but a few seconds this feeling carries me and i begin to see and feel, years and experience- something sacred. something, welcoming and so much more.

music is a powerful force, it's like astral travel. ...what do you think?

what do i think ?  okie dokie then... :D

i think...not only can one feel god thru chest...but thru all souls being !  that includes every chakra from bottom to top and all in between !

and once god is felt thru every chakra....god will show then upon the body, or outside of chakras.

when soul feels god within and god throughout....heaven on earth shall reign upon that soul.

or...did i mistenterpret this post. ?   ;)

thank you anne for replying to my post  :) i feel your words as very reassuring.

once, in between sleep cycles, i woke up feeling a rush of energy race up and down my spine. i was laying on my side but could feel the surge pulsate over the entirety of my body. it felt like i was vibrating up and out of bed. not to shortly after falling back to sleep i remember dreaming of being engulfed by a golden light. a few nights later the same light had entered my dream just before placing me in front of a giant tree, where few observed in silence. the gold gently changed to a beautiful olive and i remember feeling peace both in the dream and after. i'm wondering if this is similar to feeling god through the chakras.

Title: Re: music speaks.... yes...

yes, music can touch emotions (which can bring oscillations), yet music also stirs an essense response, stirring a "recall" ?

music is sound vibration, and as such also may bring great bridge across Gross Physical Realm to Finer, Subtle Realms ?

Keen observations here. i have found that it is best not to listen to some kinds of music when i am too receptive. This is because it does stir the emotions and brings oscillations as you put it Nomaste.

Yet at other times i feel that it comes from some unknown source. For instance the dream i had just recently in which i was listening to a whole album of a band i have never heard of before. As i awakened the words and melody still were reverberating in my consciousness; 'You can't give love if anyone falls in the end that's the heart of it all.' It is better to wait then to hurt ourselves or another soul in it's progress. We must often follow our dreams and their messages come from a higher source. Sometimes we feel so good because we are so connected. This is what we are finding together. Nice thread......

hi steve  :) thank you...

i agree, when i'm feeling really sensitive my taste in music is pretty selective. i liked your dream and have experienced similar. ...divine guidance? do you ever get song lyrics stuck in your head? i like how sometimes, lyrics serve as a catalyst and change the direction in which thoughts may flow. usually it's uplifting and leaves me with a much needed revelation. in all honesty i believe it's a form of channeling. i remember waking up from a dream once and hearing sounds i've never heard before, a celestial symphony, love it!  :)

i wonder how much time you spend meditating Eric? This celestial symphony you speak of has been very common to me and at one time even distracting. If you can believe that. Not because i did not enjoy it but rather i hoped to reach a higher level. Sometimes these blessings come in early life as a 'come on' from God to help entice us in the right direction. Then because we fall from that grace or rather have worldy attachments to work out we may loose touch with these blessings. So enjoy them and be extrememly grateful while you can.

i have never lost touch with meditation and it has steered me clear of many disastrous events in life. Now i am working very hard to make my spiritual life a reality to myself and others. It is wonderful to have you here Eric. Your expressions add much color to the forum and though i may not respond many times~i read all and put those here in the forum in my prayers and thoughts daily... Love and blessings to your gentle spirit~

i used to meditate daily but lost sight of what was important and became restless. i thought i was taking on to much to fast and later became turned off by the idea of meditation. i never lost touch with spirituality, just, the approach to my practice changed. i started meditating less but as time passed i began to pick it up again. i was pretty on and off but experienced a certain closeness with god all the way through, whatever choices were made. i later practiced unconventional forms of meditation and now i'm doing what i can, when i can- however and with whoever.
...your right, it's something to be grateful for. i wish i took it in more at the time but maybe i wasn't ready. i find myself looking back at my efforts where attempts were made to change my lifestyle and fully submerge in a spiritual reality and am really amazed by the miracles and heavenly support i received through out. maybe i knew this but lately i've been feeling that attraction again. i appreciate awareness and working closely with me, internally.
i think you're doing a fine job and provide a wonderful service to all you encounter. i understand what you mean when you say, you work hard in making your spiritual life a reality. there's another side to this statement though and i'm inclined to say something, even if you already know. i'm not sure how to word it correctly but i feel, if you become the goal you place your sights on- do you really need to work hard or do you simply need to be yourself? i'm not trying to dampen your efforts, i wanted to add another perspective. i feel no matter what, there's always some kind of work getting done- whether i'm aware of it or not.

thanks

i think that being your true self is work because we have spent so many incarnations at not being who we really are. Now we seek that awareness of what we are not what we have become because of our desires and the worlds influence. There is no quick way to enlightenment. The lazy man's path is just not going to get us there. There was nothing done on this earth without an effort behind it either now or in the distant past. There is song by Joni Mitchell. It goes like this: 'The times you impress me most is when you don't even try.' So yes there are times when we just flow and we need to enjoy that moment as it is happening and not put added effort to it. So your perspective is also important. It is possible for us to get out of balance either way. It is for friends to remind each other of such unbalances when they are apparent. i do not feel as though you have to be so careful in the way you make your observations. We are friends. Friends should be able to speak frankly. Yet we do seek to be loving in our conversations. To one sensitive as yourself....

Title: let go?
Post by: guest88 on Jan 19, 2011 03:49 am
hi all
im at a point in my life where i feel god has shown me love...
an uncontrollable love filled with so many emotions
and now that i've seen and experienced... to some small degree, love...
i feel god is asking me to let go
let go of what was shown

im finding this one of the hardest and most painful challenges ive ever experienced

do you ever feel you're being asked to let go of the wonders god reveals to us through out our lives?
thanks ...

i believe that comes from ego listening to illusion (?)   i believe....that god would never ask soul to let go of love.  god is love.  love is what god wants for us souls.

we cannot depend on another physical presence for love.  or any material thing.  god would like for us souls to go to god for love.

we may get glimpses of this love thru another person or physical presence....but as we all know....it may not last.

give love.....dont expect back in return.  learn to love ourselves & god....once it is established, it wont matter much if we receive it from others....

at least this is what i am learning..... :)

the way it went for me.....i loved god....loved myself.....and then the love started showing up in the physical realm.  like, it started 'falling from heaven'.....

once u truly love others....it does not matter whether or not it is returned back unto u.....u will find gratification/satisfaction in giving it to others.....

hi blue nova

thank you

ego and illusion huh, i struggle with this a lot... lately i've been having some fear regarding death and the lose of identity. i'm scared because i become attached to the ones i love, and- even though i believe what deep emotions i share with people in this life- will carry over, i can't help but hurt a little thinking i might never see their smiling faces again. the memories we've shared, i'm scared because the older i get the more i seem to attach myself to direct life experience.
i've had some *almost* near death experiences... i say almost because my pineal gland wasn't releasing any excess DMT
i wasn't seeing any angelic beings or any light filled tunnel
instead i was struggling mentally- between two extremes, holding on to whatever voice that was in my head. it was dark, and slowly i began to lose recognition of *my* voice. instead it was just noise, and i was fighting to hold on to it and my existence here.
nothing to pleasant, and i can't help but think death means losing identity. which... i feel i must learn to say is fine... i just, struggle because perhaps until one is ready and can let go- there is that moment just before crossing, where it is blackness &confusion(when the mind and body begin to shut down) that leads to struggle. maybe i should learn not to resist, but i just think- it'd hurt....

(((lovegoblin)))

i am very happy that u like my response.  all i can do in response to others....is share my own experience(s)...

in my heart lays love...which is god.  god...is this souls ...um...destiny ?

when we reach god....says all masters...we will be fulfilled.

a love will come...like that of no others.  it is up to us...whether or not to accept or deny this love..

and u know what ?? !! ??  one day ..i chose to finally grab onto gods love...'cause frankly, i was tired of living life without love'....

sure...i encountered love...human love...and i mistook it for gods love...and human love, cannot compare to that of gods love....

gods love comes..without judgement...without criticisms....without any, um, 'contract'....sorry, not sure how other way to word it.... ;)

gods love...is without prerequisits.....did i term that correctly ?  :D

ok...

when i learned to love god..then love me....the love started falling from heaven...

love came from sources..i never thought was possible....

even thru 'the bad ones'....yep...even thru them i felt or feel gods love...

yep...stunned i was...still am sometimes.

god is...all loving...he comes to us in 'packages' we not thought possible, or would not imagine him coming thru..

god presents himself in my daughter.....he presents himself before me in family...my doggies...my hens....

not sure how else to put it...dearest eric.....

he is present in our lives..in packages we never thought of....

<3<3<3

even in a person that seems to be our 'enemy'....an enemy comes in all forms...a vow, a parent, friend, sibling, even a child...

even in one that is a lover...

yep.  even in a lover.

(((Hugs)))

god loves us.  the ones we love...will always be with us.  some of the ones we love now....could be ones that we have loved before, in previous lifetimes.

consciousness will always be.....it never will cease to exist, even when the body ceases to function permanently.  our consciousness and it's  'identity' will keep one going after bodily death.   the masters say this.   people who have had NDE's (near death experiences) say this.

to help ease ur mind....u can watch the show called "i survived...beyond and back".  ive found much relief watching the show  :)

'consciousness will always be' and that is what we truly are. We must also remember that we create our consciousness around us and take responsibility for it.

thank you everyone for your response. i've given this another read and am really impressed by its flow
each response is very insightful and i truly appreciate you- Blue Nova, Namaste2All, and steve

i found this
Quote
(smiles shower upon us... sharing... )

Seems this experience is recalled similar by many (of those awakening upon path)...  an experience during sleep of a vibration or sensation arising in spine and among body... many say things like, "it was like something was behind me, making me vibrate, then arising or spreading".     The reason during sleep is this is when God (finally, first) finds us relaxed enough (still) to make presence of the finer, more subtle manifest within our conscious awareness...  and to let us learn, YES, there is something more... and show us the "Witness", "Holy Ghost", "Holy Vibration" that sustains all of Creation.  This is manifestation of AUM.   Typically, it is NOT Kundalini arising -- although because of the way it manifests in spine and arising, we may understandably think so...  may be a mix suppose, but key component is illustration of AUM.

Golden light is representative of AUM.   Green (olive) is of Heart Center -- Chitta...   Nucleus...   (yes...)

It is such grace and wonder to have such experiences.   Some have a couple of experiences in life, while others it's like a circus...    If not even searching, and living unobserved life, the experiences will likely remain lessons via the Gross Material World -- but this is part of the many true paths... neither is better or worse... they just are...

namaste (we bow to the spririt within in each manifestation of individuation) -- as surely (with these direct insights ) we're shown it is not us as individuals, but us as little drops in the Ocean of Spirit... and Spirit is simply our common essence...

very helpful- and touching.
gold to green
i wonder if the tree represents the holy vibration

He who created us yearns for our love. He wants us to give it spontaneously, without His asking. Our love is the one thing God does not possess, unless we choose to bestow it. So, you see, even the Lord has something to attain: our love. And we shall never be happy until we give it.

Paramahansa Yogananda
