Title: Flower Meditation; Guided Meditation by Amma Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Feb 20, 2026 08:40 am Amma’s White Flower Meditation for World Peace.
Let go of all the physical strains of the body and mind. Remain here in this very moment. Let us try to open our inner eye. Forget about our worries. Let our mind be calm like a calm pond. And be here and now. Chant Om three times. As we chant Om, feel the vibration deep within you. Take a deep breath and chant Om 3 times. Feel the vibration of the mantra spread deep in each and every cell of your body. Slowly focus your attention on your breathing. Breath normally. Be aware of every inhalation and exhalation. Not a single moment should pass without your awareness. Mentally chant the mantra; Ma Om. Ma as you breath in and Om as you breath out. Feel the vibration of the Mantra. Ma is divine love and Om is divine light. We need love and light to be peaceful, harmonious and feel beauty in this life. Every cell in our body is important. If for instance one cell in the ear canal is not functioning your whole balance can be affected. Visualize a sparkler and the golden sparks permeating every cell of your body… from your head to your toes. Visualize white flower petals falling on the whole earth. If you are unable to imagine this; take a small section of the earth and visualize flower petals falling on that section. Visualize flower petals falling on all the forests. Then on all the mountains. And all the rivers and oceans. And also on all the animals. Finally visualize flower petals falling on you. Now visualize and look into a triangle at the point between the eyebrows and above your eyebrows, up to your forehead. In the triangle see a light glow like a firefly or pearl and that light is expanding, getting larger and larger till is encircling your whole body like a plane spreading that light all around your body from your toes to the top of your head. Chant Om Lukha samahsta Sukinu bhavantu 9 times …meaning; (May all beings be happy.) To be continued… Title: Re: Guided Meditation by Amma Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Mar 11, 2026 01:47 pm Amma’s flower petal meditation began during Covid. She introduced it to the world to alleviate suffering and bring happiness and health to everyone. She explains that we are a great intertwined destiny together and if one part of this matrix of humanity suffers it can - like ripples - affect all of humanity. This has been illustrated by Covid 19 which stated in China but quickly spread around the globe.

I listened to a podcast last year from a leading environmental scientist. His take is that the earth will suffer major catastrophes because of the way we are living but he had a great optimism to temper this. He pointed out that the worst of times brings out the best in people. We come together and join forces to find solutions. Whether that may be as your doing in contributing to picking up the mess, or whether that be people pulling together and pulling live bodies out of the rubble after an earthquake, a bomb blast or a tsunami, our hidden divinity seems to jump out in these moments. I think it's important not to give into a doomsday mindset, there's enough of that in some fundamental christian thought and I think only encourages learnt helplessness as an outcome. Although I agree for some people it is true that the worst of times brings out the best in people, I look at it differently Web; I would say that if it takes ‘the worst of times to bring out the best in people’ …. This in fact ‘paints a sad picture’. It makes the human race a people who have to be treated badly to make effort at change. We do not have to wait for disaster to occur to incite us for change. We can be the change we want to see in others. We can actually visualize a better world today. That is why Amma gave us the ‘flower meditation’ ive talked about under the section on Amma under ‘Masters’. I understand the ‘doomsday’ mentality of some fundamentalist Christian thought but generally speaking that mindset is inundated with the view to increase and multiply rather than being stewards of the earth.
