Title: Aging Post by: Jitendra Hydonus on Dec 27, 2025 03:23 am An interesting note. When we are younger we are more attracted by the glitter and the youthful appearance of physical bodies. As we age more we recognize that these bodies we inhabit are as Paramahansa Yogananda once remarked ‘hideous’ below the surface and inside. A friend once said to me; “Have you ever thought to yourself, that we are just one big shit machine?” Well that thought never left me, and though I know we have the capacity to express and attain cosmic consciousness, most of us are deeply attached to these bodies our souls reside in. Fortunately we can express higher states of consciousness through our creative output, our behavior and through our actions. |
