Right now Ukraine is not doing very well. The announced offensive has been slow and ineffective. The Palestinian war has jeopardized the media's attention. Funds from America and Europe are being stalled, and Europe is not able to keep its promises to make more ammo to send to Ukraine. Bad luck, bad karma.
Zelenski's position is also starting to wobble. He has gone on with a war of attrition which is favorable to Russia, planning no way out for his country.
Maybe both parties will need to start a ceasefire soon. There will probably be no peace yet, but a needed recess. Too bad Putin is still keeping his seat, but the devil is the devil, not so easy to downthrow him.
Yes i understand your perspective. We also have the devils accomplices….enablers and collaborators that want to defend their own political positions who support authoritarian regimes, who are “ launching an assault on the foundations of the country. History will judge those people.” And we who stand by and say nothing. We will be the recipients of the moral decline that we have silently observed and witnessed, with no apparent concern or expression of dismay with what should be obvious to everyone. The devil and his minions depends on such moral malaise that is not clearly defined and expressed by human faculties of reason and rational thought. If the common folk believe that their opinions do not matter, they will seal their fate as the servile to the forces that are willing to take away their freedom and integrity.
